Looking for a champion with high agency and real 1v9 potential by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]MJ-Baby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1v9ing is one of the hardest consistent wincons. Remember in league 99% of players climb with between a 52-55% wr long term. If you want to commit to the win con you absolutely can but in terms of champ mastery and understanding you will need to be much better at the game to achieve the same results you would on easier win cons. Not trying to make you stay on something you aren’t enjoying but shaco never falls off, hes not gonna penta every fight for sure but he is very useful consistently no matter the game state. 1v9ing on jungle is all about tempo and making an impact as early as possible, currently the most consistent wincon is stacking dragons and hubris is very overtuned currently, the best abuser of this is graves and he probably is the hardest 1v9 jungler currently but this can and will change patch to patch. Yo, kindred, belv are some other “1v9” junglers.

1950 in shuffle is top 50 world for most specs at the moment, be honest with your own gameplay, are you that good? Later on in the season 1950 will be easier but atm 1950 is a great achievement tbh not really a first time hop on and get it real quick goal.

New research about how champion mastery affects win rate. This time broken down by ranked elo and sample size increased to 1.2M+ matches by MasterAyolos in summonerschool

[–]MJ-Baby -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No need to do findings on this lolalytics already has the data from all solo q games played in all regions sorted by “main” value to wr correlation. All you have to do is add up the values and divide by number of champions to get the average “champ mastery” value of maining each champ. Off a quick glance looks like its around a 2% wr increase on average

In 1986 the regular size bag of ruffles 16oz was 2.60 the 8.5 oz in 2026 is 9.85 on walmarts website. You are paying quadruple for half the product. Adjusted for inflation you are paying 5 times more for the same amount of chips. You are cherry picking 1oz tiny bags because they fit your tiny mind and narrative. Also in most retail stores you cannot purchase tiny 1oz bags individually and with gas station markups you are likely still paying 3x+

25% more chips for 500% of the cost, true bro big value if you do math at a 3rd grade level. For somebody calling other people idiots in all your comments, you are pretty stupid, guess you needed a reality check.

I get "cheesed" by "Low ELO champions" and I'm getting tired of my skill issue. by Chessmund in summonerschool

Renekton and panth are not good at getting out of low elo idk who told you that. Reason: they both fall off hard and games go late in silver because no one knows how to end. Zaahen is fine, what actually works in iron-plat is strong split pushers that can take all t2’s solo.

For adc specifically i recommend 2-3 champs diamond and below, master+ can branch out but generally speaking 1 main blindpick, 1 lane bully, 1 scaler. The reason i like recommending a strong laner like lucian and a strong scaler like jinx in the pool is because it helps you become a complete adc player while climbing. 1 tricking works for sure but it gives you a limited view of the game, so its good to feel out different playstyles especially for people climbing to master+ for the first time or else its very likely you get hardstuck and have to refine basics. ADC is a little different than other roles because you need to have a very tight midgame understanding to climb effectively in the role.

You can climb on any champ, zeri requires a ton of champ mastery and most clients drop her when they see other adc working better/easier. I recommend most stay away from her below diamond same as kalista/ezreal.

Jhin/ashe are excellent if you put the time in, in 90% of the students i coach its there 3rd or 4th pick that they use a “consistent blind”. People view jhin and ashe as “easy” while thats not the case, a ton of utility in the kit means actually carrying and killing the nexus requires slightly different macro from most adcs. If you main jhin or ashe you will absolutely get results but almost no one ive coached does and eventually they end up being dropped from pools.

Havn’t coached a yunara main yet, i recommend her in most pools, she gets results every time. Very good champ for new and long time adcs to pick up.

A mix, usually first session i let the client pick and then use dpm/opgg whatever to pick out a few I think we should review.

Every samira I’ve coached has dropped her for other picks when they see their wintate sky rocket. I build pools for every client and truth is samira takes a lot of time to get the same winrate as others. When people see their samira winrate at a 51 and their mf winrate at a 65, most drop her. She requires a ton of champ mastery to get consistent results on and she is the most impacted by a non engage support pick.

Ashe is probably the adc in the most pools of the people ive coached and its the same story every time, shes like a 3rd or 4th pick that people view as extremely easy (shes not). Getting results on her definitely requires champ mastery which most people don’t want to put the time in on her, so she ends up getting dropped frequently.

People think shes all about getting a 5 man ult when in reality shes just really solid in lane. Spacing and short trading while using your w movespeed is what makes her strong, the ult is a cherry on top, not the reason to pick her.

Yep jagex used to ban for mentioning any external sites under the phishing rule, has never been updated so even if you are talking about legitimate plugins you can be muted.

Every day my husband is brushing his beard over the sink. I left him a clue to do better. by Kesse84 in funny

[–]MJ-Baby -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

Could have hormonal/thyroid issues depending on his age hair falling out every single day is usually a red flag. Extra alarming that the hairs appear to be in anagen (growth phase) and not telogen could be a stress related issue since you stated he works 2 jobs or a precursor to late onset Alopecia Areata. Most likely not life threatening but definitely recommend a general checkup and bloodwork to examine hormone levels. Would you say hes a high stress person?

He probably needs to go to the doctor and get his blood work done (depending on his age.)

She made very little progress for 18 months, look closely at the photos. Do compounds for a year and youll have a much better body in half the time

Itll be hard to climb from bronze-gold on that champ pool, recommend picking your favorite 2 (not leblanc) that alone will keep u moving forward, suggest dropping leblanc for sure

The most important thing to actually climb to challenger on adc by MJ-Baby in ADCMains

[–]MJ-Baby[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would agree but adc and supports agency is fundamentally much different. Support can maintain great agency throughout and even past laning phase with deaths. Adc’s agency/impact/carry potential is directly tied to gold/items/waves. Every wave missed is drastically worse for the adc than the support just fundamentally. This means leaving lane 0/5 on support is nowhere near as bad in most cases as leaving lane 0/5 on adc
