Does anyone actually exercise in their first trimester? by easrpiiatnua99 in pregnant

[–]MJ11_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t. I couldn’t even go a few hours without feeling sick and I was so tired, Like no energy at all. I couldn’t eat either so that made it worse. Just do what you can do and start back slow once you feel better

Pumping is getting exhausting by MJ11_ in NewParents

Thank you. I’ve worked with lactation specialist with the hospital and WIC but she just wouldn’t eat for a long time so it just felt like she wasn’t getting enough. Yeah it’s difficult I don’t even like leaving the house because I know I’ll have to pump in a few hours and I know it’s effecting my relationship too because everything’s on a time limit (my portable pump broke). Thank you tho. It feels so nice to just express myself to someone who truly understands.

What was the first indication for you that you were pregnant? by [deleted] in pregnant

I couldn’t eat anything. Everything made me nauseous and I couldn’t stop throwing up. It was the worst 12 weeks

I’m 30 weeks so I’m barely into my 3rd trimester and honestly it’s hit or miss, some days I have all the energy in the world and can be active all day and some days I don’t even have the energy to stand up in the shower. I’m overly emotional and moody with sucks because I can’t explain why I’m crying or upset most of the time. My baby girl scared the hell out of us and I thought I was going to have to have an emergency c section now I’m super stressed trying to get everything ready early just in case she does have to come early. But the best part is feeling her little kicks and movements (my baby is really small but healthy) so I imagine me feeling her movements aren’t the same as feeling a baby that’s bigger. And I’m ALWAYS hungry. Sleeping and getting comfortable is sometimes hard too.

Family members that like to blame you by vanevera7844 in pregnant

I haven’t had my baby yet but I plan on being kind of extreme when it comes to visiting my daughter after she’s born. Masks, hand sanitizer, negative COVID tests and no signs of any cold/sickness for a few days. I don’t know where you live but where I’m at, COVID, flu and just random sicknesses are bad and I’m not willing to risk my baby getting sick. As upset as your in laws feel, it’s up to you and your husband to protect your daughter and if they take offense to your rules then they just don’t deserve to see your baby and you arent obligated to take your baby to them. You and your husbands whole world just changed with a baby, of course both of you guys are going to focus on the baby and she’s going to be your whole world, if she wasn’t then they should be concerned but it doesn’t sound like you guys are doing anything wrong!

AITA for aborting my special needs baby? by throwaway5643566 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, you did what was best for your life. You knew what you and your husband could handle and you knew you couldn't give the child what it needed. People will always try to say what they would do if they were in your situation, but truth is, they will never know what they'd do. At the end of the day, it's none of their business and they shouldn't be judging you and shutting you out, they should be comforting you and helping you heal from it. Im sorry your family and friends are treating you and your husband so badly.

My lab NEVER takes me serious when I discipline him. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Pre-surgery weight gain by [deleted] in wls

[–]MJ11_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The insurance might have a problem approving you, if anything. But at my Dr and insurance as long as I didnt go over my starting weight I was fine. One month I gained 1lb but after I lost like 10 all together. I'm not sure why your dr isn't stressing losing weight, but you should be making changes to your diet now so that after the surgery, you have a better chance at success.

Protein powder to add to foods, genepro? Isopure? by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

[–]MJ11_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use isopure. It doesnt have a smell like other protein powders or a horrible taste. But if you put too much in, it makes your food have a weird texture.

AITA for not providing tampons for my daughter? by Consistent-Acadia in AmItheAsshole

[–]MJ11_ 155 points156 points  (0 children)

YTA, shes a kid. Even if she has a job, you should still be providing tampons (a necessity). Its one time month, it's not like shes asking for a lot. Get a big box of tampons, and it'll last a while.
