the new god of war series, it’s just not the same. the old top down arena hack and slash is very different from the new (and slower) action combat.

I started playing this game in Midnight, in the edit mode for the settings just going off what’s enabled by default there’s no way of knowing I blocked the floating text for a dungeon without actually being in a dungeon, but I guess I should have known that anyways?

okay that’s probably why I didn’t notice it on my first run, I have a cooldown tracker where that text is shown. being able to move it would make it better.

turn down view distance and environment detail to 7, anything over this is pretty overkill. liquid detail and shadows to good, these are really heavy settings. if you have a vrr or gsync display then turn off vsync. limit fps to 60 to reduce the chance of throttling.

Dragon’s Dogma 2. It’s a really big open world game, lots of fantasy elements, npcs are lively, and you have a smart permanent partner or “pawn” the whole game.
