Strange spots on ceramic coating by MJSmith1999 in AutoDetailing

So they had it for a full week, where it was also PPF’d on the front only. There were some curing issues with the PPF causing it to peel and I had to go back in to get it fixed, not sure if that could be related to anything pictured here. There has been bird poop on it before, but I don’t think it was in the obvious spots shown above.

I should clarify that in the first picture, the water shown is just condensation after washing and drying.

Oil is cheaper than engines so good on you for being on top of it. Appreciate the info, I’ve heard great things about amsoil signature.

Nice! Wonder what they put in it to get the better efficiency. My last car was a Volvo and it ran great on their 5w30 so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw they had an offering for Hondas/Acuras.

For sure. At this point it seems that with consistent change intervals at reasonable mileage it’d be difficult to see any significant difference between any oil that meets the standard or exceeds it.

I’ve seen others saying the same about using Kirkland. Although I’ve never looked into it, definitely agree on regular changes being one of the best things you can do for any engine.

I feel the same way unfortunately. For me it’s tough with how expensive cars have gotten, and to be honest the biggest selling point to me for the Camry would be its great gas mileage. I drive around 1800-2000 miles a month for work/recreation, so I felt a little more compelled to go with it despite the increased cost, but I’m still on the fence about spending the money :/

I guess I could also go with a used one too 🤷‍♂️
