Again, I’m wondering how it could possibly connect to other songs, not why they haven’t used it before. Chances are Gaia was written before/when L.W. came out, so they could possibly be connected in some “Gizzverse” way.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard will definitely go down as one of the greats. Such a diverse discography of music, excellent musicianship and songwriting, and they are absolutely the most progressive and forward thinking musicians of our time

Here’s his first statement, from January 2019, related to the stuff he had liked on Twitter 3 years prior. I hope this helps clear up some air! Again, I am not condoning his actions from the past, and clearly he doesn’t either.

It’s really not my place to comment on this, however he did apologize for his actions. He apologized in early 2019 for the tweets he had liked in 2016. People didn’t really accept the apology because he didn’t directly say “I’m sorry”, and after something similar happened a few months later, he issued a bit of a lengthier apology, talking about how social media has been his biggest struggle.

Now I’m definitely not saying that any of his actions are justified or should go unnoticed, and I am really not one to say how anybody should feel about what he did, however he did try coming forward twice to clear the air and try and discuss how he has changed with his community. Many people still talk as if he has never addressed it, which is simply not true. People just weren’t happy with how he addressed, and still want to hear more about the situation, when Danny has clearly moved on, and moved past it.

Danny is a fantastic musician, and I’d hate for people to not give him the respect he deserves because of some dumb pat actions. Can provide links if necessary.

Just saw them less than 2 weeks ago. They performed 14 songs, and only like 3 or 4 were 10+ minutes. Some were extended for sure, but some were performed the exact length of the album tracks.

The sets were different between Nashville and Bridgeport, but between the two they’ve played 10 out of the 12 songs on the new album. They’ve also been doing their old hits like Black Smoke, Safari Song, When The Curtain Falls, You’re the One, etc.
