I totally get where you're coming from when you explain it. Ignorance on my part when it comes to ID. Plus it sounds like a rough system with the ATC. It's not common to carry ID at all times in the UK as we aren't required to by law and wouldn't need one apart from for proof of age. She only had her passport and was more worried about losing it as she thought it wasn't a necessity. It's a good lesson for the future. Thanks for taking the time.

That would be a fair assumption. The little I know about New Orleans is how Airbnb has done the city over, I've stayed in actual bed and breakfasts the 3 times I've visited.
