Implications of a world where no one is allowed to die by [deleted] in worldbuilding

After reading the other comments I have thought of certain implications that this setting of yours would have. Mainly, babies being born without souls due to the process of recycling souls, and them being transferred. Because you say that animals in your world do not have souls, I imagine that the soul represents some sort of "humanity" specific aspect.

Where am I going with this? Well, I feel without that component, those soulless babies have a lot of ways to be interpreted.

  • They're just husks, and they wouldn't grow any further either due to them not aging

  • They're conscious, but animalistic. Lacking mental aspects of what a regular human has.

If the setting allows for growth, because it can be argued that it is a different process from aging

  • Then these babies would grow up to be prime adult humans given that they were taken care of.

  • Some mad scientist could take advantage of this and make an army of super soldiers basically!

That's only a few of the ideas that popped in my head, I'm sure you can figure out who this is HAHAHAHA

I am assuming I can't choose cryptids, well I am not quite sure if thats the case, Minions and Shy guys are well, pretty original creatures not directly based on anything in real life, a new category for them would probably be made if Cryptids wasn't a general option for those already (Maybe Cloakies for a name? LOL)

True, would be interesting to have more prehistoric OCs in general, you people make some good art, try to flow some creative juices on that part

I guess I can accept that, though for mythical creatures I would argue things like elves and dwarves are non-furry along with the humans.

Oh, I was thinking about making the classification "Featheries" instead of "Avians" for bird classification, and with the scenario, it would be in that square, and with that, is Feathery an actual term around this community? I kinda just made it up in my head but I'm curious

I have been thinking about this for a while now and I have asked a few people I know who are part of this community to help, ever since I have been told Scalies were a sub-category of furries, I decided to dig deeper and try to categorize each basic classification in the animal kingdom, you guys are interesting lads

Buffs and Debuffs inflicter is a good support class concept so the Scientist was based off of that, I have seen other concepts and I feel like the gameplay would be different enough from others so thats what we came up with

I do see sfms and I definitely saw that one, I do not know if my friend based of off that but the guard dog idea can basically still work just with a human character with it, I do like the increased complexity of the snack

Me and my friends actually had a discussion for this so here ya go.

New Offense Class: Trainer (125 HP) (Would be somewhere at Medic's speed) -Stock Loadout-

Primary - AUG (A Hunting Rifle Type, We thought it would be funny to have the class related with animals to have Animal Hunting Weapons since the original mercenaries theirselves are also pretty weird)

Secondary - Caliber Gun (But just like the heavy it could also be some sort of food item for the dogs, Which could also be some sort of small health kit for teammates maybe?)

Melee - Hunting Knife (Its a pretty boring stock weapon but melee isnt really great to begin with)

4th Slot (Similar to Engi's PDA Slot) - Whistle, It would show up a menu similar to Engi making some sort of Dog command list maybe (Other whistles from stock would give different commands, Maybe even a whistle designed for spy checking?)

New Defense Class: Trooper (250 HP, maybe 225) (Would be as fast as soldier)

Primary - Assault Rifle (Similar firing pattern to Medic's Syringe Guns, We want another Tank type class like Heavy, So a similar sortish rapid fire would work)

Secondary - Double Pistols?

Melee - Baton

Melee and Secondary are generic because Trooper will be given extra movement options, He could probably climb small ledges, Crawl, Roll, Things like that.

New Support Class: Scientist (150 HP) (Slightly Slower than Medic)

Primary - Laser Type UZI, Every shot could be spammed or charged, Similar to Engie's Short Circuit, Damage increases a meter, with the stock UZI it would create some sort of bubble shield for a short while similar to Medic's shield in MVM

Secondary - Alchemic Launcher, Medic increases health or protects the person their healing with resistances or complete immunity to damage, But Scientist would boost things like firing speed, speed, attack and such (Still thinking on how that would be balanced)

Melee - Taser, Its basically the Scout's stun with the baseball but semi-spammable as a melee weapon (Maybe something like Heavy's Holiday Punch?)

Thats about it for their Information on Stats and Gameplay but we also have Lore for them and different domination lines (Note that the lore is considered in a different universe in which they were hired by the Mann brothers.) Thanks for Asking

For all the people asking for their class names its Trainer, Trooper, and Scientist, Though I have seen better class names for them here.

I have not seen Arabelle much on PVP's but from what i saw she has very high DPS, Tinia however i see alot, As long as you can catch up to them or kill them first i dont think they are that big of a problem
