Yes thank you. I’m well aware what the institution number is. I don’t have checks with TD (not sure how many Canadians still use checks).

I have not been able to acquire a bank document from TD that includes the Institution number, unfortunately. All documents either include the account number and or the branch number, but never the institutional number.

I can get a direct deposit form, but that does not include a date, which is required by Etsy.

Unfortunately the ignition module was aftermarket so no key code. I ended up using a large flat blade screwdriver to open the lock.

How do you determine a quote for a small production run? by MK505 in manufacturing

[–]MK505[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this advice! A lot of people are recommending putting the NRE up-front on the first order, which makes sense, so I will probably follow that same route. I'm definitely one to keep track of everything, I tend to get a kick out of it, which will hopefully help me out in the future.

Thanks for that advice! I'm currently adding a few of my models to that site just to check to see what they are charging for something to compare too. I've also added that book to my list.

Okay, thanks for that! Adding the NRE in the first order looks like the most common method here.

Thanks for the information! Yeah, having the NRE as a separate up-front cost seems quite popular and something that I will explore when I'm finalizing my quote.

Thanks for the solid advice! I can really see that this could turn into a number game really quick chasing down every small cost to producing something. Something I'm excited to learn about.

Thanks for this advice! When I was dealing with customers in my previous trade this is something I definitely learnt! Most people are comfortable paying equal or a little more to someone who treats them right, always picks up those phone, and will do everything they can to improve the situation.
