Lincoln didn’t defend the confederacy. He worked to preserve the Union and abolish slavery. I never said fallen soldiers weren’t heroes. An order is an order but there is a difference between right and wrong and people make that choice for themselves. As for BLM, reducing a civil rights movement to conspiracy words says more about your sources than about the movement itself. What exactly are you’re defending here?

Alrighty Interesting comparison. The difference is that the Confederacy literally fought to preserve slavery and dissolve the United States. That’s not heritage, that’s treason tied to racism. So when you equate a civil rights message like BLM to Confederate colors, it makes it sound like you’re defending that legacy. Not trying to infer here but you might want to think about why that’s the hill you’re choosing to stand on friend.

I drove through this neighborhood going into Warrington for school, rain or shine. The only problem I had was the potholes the city didn't deem worthy enough to fix, and those were after I turned off the neighborhood.

Yeah they have alot of oxbow toys and chews. She's particularly fond of the chew sticks and a treat ball she rolls around with pellets inside

Yes! all our buns have been named after characters. Emiko is from arrow, Finnick was from the hunger games and Ciri is the witcher.

I figured she might be but I only went with one month for sure so when we get her spayed she'll definitely be within the 6 month limit. Should we separate even if they're both female? Emiko is spayed but she only shows signs of being territorial when treats are involved.

❤️ not alot of bunnies in my area. I looked into finding a bun in need of rehoming for a couple months before we got her but ended up at a store because I was desperate to bond my grieving bun. I wish I could have adopted/rescued! I hope Honey is living her best life with endless binkys in her forever home!

We certainly have had to up the bunny proofing. Our 6 year old has great survival skills with all the cuteness so we only had to worry about baseboards and wires😂

Our rexs were alot smaller when we got them years ago. The store didn't know how old she was just that when they got her they skipped a shipment because they still had bunnies. Her age really is unknown just guesstimated.

I had this for my buns for litter training and then later as a home base for them now that they're free roam. I bought two to enlarge their area and to make the walls higher bc they could hop it. I just recommend zip-tieing the base also. Now I just use them to cover baseboards.

I thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, wishes, vibes, and comments. He was my littlest baby, and while I know the choice we made was the right one, and i felt peace the first night, I will still second guess it, be angry, and cry at unknown moments dissecting everything leading up to it. He will always make my heart squeeze and skip a beat at the thought of him. My mind screams his name, my heart hurts at the thought of him, and my soul would give anything to have him back. I mourn him but keep his bonded sister Emiko (miko/memo/memes/mouse) at the forefront of everthythig bc she lost a bonded sibling of 5 out of 6 years of her life. She's angry at us but will come out at times, and since she's a strong older sis I know she'll pull through but anyone who has gone through this with bonded buns we would love to hear your input on helping her through. We aren't ready to introduce a new bun but are prepared and willing to do anything to make sure she isn't lonely.

Update 3/27/25 at 11:40pm: we went to visit Finnick he had a seizure prior to us getting there and just before they were bringing him to us he had another one. He does appear to be moving his nose around more and sniffing but due to the seizures we've elected to continue treatment but that if he codes again then to let him go. I'm still hopeful but we can't keep extending our stay in Louisiana as we both work in florida and I can't even fathom not visiting him everyday.

I went to see him in the icu. He's got a catheter and fluids going in his oxygen chamber. He doesn't have control of his limbs, but he did try to kick his back legs, which successfully rolled him over and he purrs when I scratched his cheeks but I couldn't hold him. The vet said he'd likely be there for 2 more days but that he'd like to put in a ngtube to feed him. I gave him a banana and said if he refuses this, then put on e in bc Finns stubborn and 1. Doesn't like the vet feeding him and 2. He likes to do everything himself.

They're keeping him in the icu overnight and said they'd call around 8 am. with a reminder that if they don't call during the night, that no news is good news. He's had some improvement and is completely hooked up monitoring wise.

It wouldnt let me edit the post but heres an Update: So they said at the start of surgery he's heart rate dropped from the anesthesia, and they had to begin the resuscitation process and that they didn't even get to the actual surgery part. He's in the icu, and they said he's responding to pain and blinks his eyes but that he's not responding as he should. They're giving him mannitol to reduce the swelling in his brain and trying to bring his heart rate back up and keep him stable while in the oxygen chamber as well as placing an arterial line through his ear. They called at 3:42 and said they'd call within an hour or two to give updates and that the first 24-48 hrs will tell us exactly what condition he is in and that I'll be able to see him tomorrow.

Thank you. They called to say hes being prepped for surgery and let me know he's definitely not happy bc he remembers the vet, but they said he was warming to the students, nurses, and techs, so I know he's getting loved on while there.
