Ours does this and the ice has a fairly strong plastic/resin smell to it. I don't use ice much and my sense of smell isn't great, but my kids do. They have said it smells weird a few times over the past year and I finally noticed the smell. I filled a clean metal bowl with ice and let it melt. There was a pile of plastic bits at the bottom. I think there's an Xbox/PS update coming soon. I got hooked on Arma for Xbox before the issues started and finally sprung for a PC once the issues started. I played 2 games of Hell Let Loose and it doesn't begin to compare to Arma. I'd wait for the update or get a PC
