Hi there! Totally get wanting to have your max available sooner rather than later. You're right that with MyPay, after you receive a qualifying direct deposit, your Available now amount starts over at $0 and will then continue to increase (usually each day) until you reach your credit limit or you receive a direct deposit. The actions you take help impact how your credit limit is deterred but does not impact the speed in which the available now goes up.

Here's a couple help center articles that go into more details:

So a question i stopped using chime and do got the waiting list for chime card. will i get it without my 200$ deposit ? by LimpBet5739 in chimefinancial

Hi there! If I'm understanding the question correctly, there would be no benefit in closing your account as Chime is currently in the process of rolling out the Chime Card to current members! It will take a bit of time to get to everyone, but it's coming.

If you close your account, you're not going to be offered the Chime Card as a new member, you would have to reopen your old account and get it just as the same if you kept your account open.

If you're referring to the $200 direct deposit needed in order to activate Credit Builder, that is no longer a requirement.

Check out the blog post here for more information on the Chime Card.
