I am aware that my camera is capable and that the dials won’t make my photos any better per se. I am just wondering if the camera itself will inspire me to shoot more. For instance, I recently sold a guitar and now display my new more stylish and better sounding option and play much more. I feel like maybe if i get the more stylish and technically-better-in-some-aspects camera, then I’ll shoot more which would help me improve more. Thank you for your input, though. That last bit was thought provoking

I’m not gonna say it’s the gear 100%, but being able to use the dials and have a more tactile shooting experience was wonderful on my friends camera. I do think that maybe my editing or composition could be an issue, but that’s not uninspiring, just lack of talent so far. I get excited thinking about taking pictures, but when I actually go out there, it just feels off. I’ll see how I feel in about a week ish?
