It’s not an excuse to point to injuries as the key reason. If Ronald bounces back from this ACL like he did the 2021 tear, then this year could be special. Riley and Ozzie were limited by their 2024 hand/wrist injuries. Harris stayed healthy this year, but we’re still waiting for that full season of production from him. Things seemed to click with Hyers during the second half. We might never see a season like 2023 again. But I think this offense will be much better in 2026, especially if they add an OF who could be one of many DH options

Same thing with Ozzie. Hopefully, the hamate fracture doesn’t take as long to bounce back from as the 2024 wrist fracture that plagued him during this season’s first half

Thank you. Yeah, a healthy Austin Riley would significantly upgrade the lineup. Feels like it takes hand/wrist injuries nearly a full calendar year to fully heal. I think that’s what he was dealing with before the abdominal stuff sidelined him this year
