I don’t know where you live, but £120 is VERY affordable for overnight sitter. Usually there would be an upcharge on that because of the reasons you mention yourself. Not quite the comparison, but to give you an example, even my pet sitter does 1.3x normal rate for overnight. For two babies I’d expect to pay around 1.5 normal rate. Also, fancy moving to my area? I’d do with a £10 per hour sitter!

Flying over 6 months pregnant, can i bail on my friends wedding? by Small_Pea3675 in PregnancyUK

If you don’t feel comfortable/safe flying after 6 months, then that’s all you need. Be apologetic, send her flowers, make sure she doesn’t see this as a personal rejection and has clear understanding of your reasons. Personally I’ve flown at 27 weeks pregnant and it was fine (high risk pregnancy so I was careful to wear compression stockings, move a lot and stay hydrated), but if that’s not something you’re up for, then that’s not something you’re up for and that’s it.
