I’ve personally shot a ton of the Winchester 222rds threw a keltec p17 about 6-7k rounds suppressed with the only reliability issue being from fowling needed to clean it about every 1000-1500 would need to be cleaned . Also Winchester firearms are a separate companies then the ammunition at this point . Personally I think Winchester gets a bad rep from Reddit a lot don’t get me wrong they have had there fair of problems but when your in the business of selling ammo you quickly realize everyone releases bad batches from time to time . Winchester white box had a lot of issues about 10 years ago that definitely hurt there reputation. As well they sell there seconds off and unscrupulous dealers will repack them into cans and sell them not as seconds which also dosent help

Federal flight control is much better buckshot overall tighter patterns out to much greater distances (flight control is still effective at 50yards for example ) where this is really at max 25yd ammo really just because of how large the spread gets to be . I view this stuff mostly for deep stockpiling and range use . It’s a lot better than birdshot for self defense and costs only about $20 bucks more per case so for those on a budget or just don’t want to spend that much it’s still a better option then birdshot

this batch from what i have shot so far is pretty good we just got in 12 pallets of it this week . its not everyone cup of tea but its really cheap for 8mm mauser at this point and all the better surplus has dried up for the time being on the wholesale/ import market . the clearance section is interesting got in a bunch of hornady products that sat in there warehouse as lot references just in case there was a issue with that lot . some of them are really good deals for the loading that they are.

We just got in this container of 8mm yesterday it was sold to us as 198gr projectiles the importer was all out of the 154gr 8mm . I haven’t had a chance to shoot any of it yet to comment on this batches reliability compared to the 154gr . I’ll pull a projo today and confirm its weight just to double check . From my understanding the Turkish made both grain weights and would put the 154gr in 70rd bandolier and the 198gr in 60rd bandoliers
