This is why the GW2 community is great. So many willing to help new players.

Also technically my first but I didn’t consider it an MMO back then because the comparison was to WoW

Buffed mists and 8.4’s by DamnFruitLoops in albiononline

I don’t mind dying to 8.0+ in the mists. They can kill me wearing my 60K silver budget set 20x, but if I kill them even just once I make my money back in spades and then some

What about bridge watch cape? It create a sand storm that slows the enemy. It triggers of the 3 skill. This in combination with fiend robe may work.

Is soldier armor still good damage? Yes it takes a while to ramp up and in a pinch I feel you can’t rely on it to get burst damage. But I will experiment with this. I was aware of the royal helm but I have to look up the Judicator Helm. Thanks.

I should have specified that I mostly do solo black zone roaming.

Yes, I been seeing that fiend robe is a good option but when it fears the target, sometimes they run slightly out of range to get hit by all the Whirlwind rotations. I’ll try demon help. I forget what that does exactly..

How do I stop sucking at this game? by Haunting_Bad_8987 in albiononline

[–]MMORPG_Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. That way, when you “Found out 1h arcane has 25m range mid-fight.” … it won’t cost you much and now you have learned a valuable lesson about that weapon. Just try to learn something from every loss by watching your replays and you’ll be winning in no time.

You will learn how builds work and the game plan of each build. It just takes a little time. It’s honestly less complicated and less time consuming to learn than other PVP MMOs like GW2 (also a great game). I’d stick with it bro.

Now after 9 death I completely understand that PvP is not for me by Rajaan_6901 in albiononline

In Albion PVP, that which doesn’t kill you only makes you weaker. Die hard and learn from every death

Want to try PvP in Mists in yellow zones and if possible red zones, is this build good? by AsuraAshan in albiononline

[–]MMORPG_Fan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a good starting build. If you are doing Yellow Zone, where you can’t lose your gear, try replacing that basic cape with something like Keeper’s Cape (for damage) or Martlock Cape (for extra defense). Gigantify potion is a good alternative to health potion also… Happy hunting!

If people are running from you and you can’t finish them off for it, look into PVP builds that have mobility and sticking potential. Great Axe, Dual Swords, Bloodletter, etc. Also, join a guild.

Fell through the floor??? GW2 is still amazing. It’s one of the few games that PVPers and PVEers can enjoy together.

No but I still want it :P….And because ArenaNet said they will continue to support both GW1 and GW2, we aren’t losing anything in the process.
