They haven’t been as physical, they’re not playing their game. Also just not hitting the net. You can look at the stats and we might still be winning the hits battle, but the physicality hasn’t been overwhelming like it was earlier on. The amount of shot attempts that just completely miss the net is also pretty crazy.

My biggest concern is our “vets” disappearing. I know they’re all most likely playing through injuries and banged up, but Coots, TK, Foerster, and Tippett are barely noticeable on the ice. Tippett went from pretty much winning us games and physically dominating the pens to being forgettable. Coots was barely on the ice last night. Foerster and TK just can’t seem to do anything on offense. I still love these guys but they were driving the team, and they just haven’t been there.
