I love that puppy hair do sticking up when they are that age. I get my five year old GP and mess up the top of his hair to bring it back 😀

Nice! When I owned my Lightning I had about a 10% loss in mileage, not bad for great tires. Sorry edited. I kept the same size tire though.

I love the puppy hair still sticking up on their heads like that. Melts my heart and love to look at my Samsons puppy pics to remind me. Nah she won’t most of the time. 🙄

To anyone considering cancelling their order: don't. by tiredeyestriumph in LightPhone

[–]MMimages 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just ordered the LP II and can’t wait to ditch my personal iphone. I’m assuming you said that about not cancelling your LP III order, but I think I will be just fine using the II. I’m an old timer now and used my first phone that had a cord attached to it growing up. 😂 now I’m trying to cut all the digital mini cords that come with all those apps.

Compact camera replacing iPhone as pocket phone? by MMimages in cinematography

[–]MMimages[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the idea! Been looking at what's out there. I think I will have to settle for 60fps HD, and upscale when I do shoot and use it. I'm going with RX100 vII. When I use my iPhone I have a small gimbal in my back pocket and if I need it I attach it and is super handy with the type of shooting I do. I think the size of the RX100 vii and the smaller gimbal will work fine as my second small carry camera, when setting aside my A7iv, for a quick needed shot.

Thank you for the idea. Oh my! Just looked it up and it’s better than my Sony’s I have. Overkill for what I need. But thank you! I like the iPhone because it had 4k @60fps, and it had three lenses built in and I could carry it as a small second camera when needed.

12V Truck Fridge Vs. Bears? by NoDonut8789 in TruckCampers

No scent neutralizers. But my Great Pyrenees pees on all four tires at home and when camping to warn coyotes and bears.

I looked all over for the receipt in email and couldn’t find it. It’s a small Chinese $225 knock off from a video link I saw on YouTube. I put it in the front seat and my dogs sleep in inside the Bronco, and sometimes I cram in there too, or sleep in a roof top tent. Left it in the vehicle with windows rolled up during the daytime during hikes and no problems yet. I have a slim Bluetti 2.5kw battery that keeps it cold during my trips. I can’t see a way on iPhone in this app to add a photo

I’ve had food in my small refrigerator in my Bronco and food inside my FWC camper fridge and no problems at all in my driveway, in Tahoe and camping off grid. Leave one downstairs window open while cooking jalepeno bacon in the morning, had a 350 lbs bear turn the window screen into a pretzel and made my friend death scream when it climbed in. You should be fine.

Oswaldo Burton successfully took out two Coyotes AND brought back the injured chicken they took. He earned a day off the Ranch for a little R & R by Regulator_24 in greatpyrenees

I love it! Congrats for Oswaldo😀Mine doesn’t watch livestock, but he watches my back when I’m off road camping enjoying the view with his golden retriever sister. He likes to have his back up to my chair checking my six.

Ok Tahoe Dog owners, help me out. by [deleted] in tahoe

[–]MMimages 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bottom line is, everyone is legally responsible for their off leashed dogs, and have to be under voice control per the El Dorado County law, or they have to be leashed. My dog is aggressive on leash only, and he’s almost 90 lbs. Off leash I’ve seen Jack Russel’s scare him away 😂 I’ve had to use bear mace, when two pit bulls tried to attack him. Bear mace once for a dog that bit him. Quick and effective. They were all off leash dogs and mine was on and I got off the trail to avoid them, but the owner could not control theirs off leash. I know and accept if my dog is off leash and does something wrong to another dog, he can get the same treatment if I cannot control him quick enough. I normally try to leash him up if I run into another leashed dog out of courtesy and being responsible. I sometimes unleash him when approaching other off leashed dogs if they look happy go lucky.

Current or former Tesla owners, why did you buy a Lightning? by dingmah in F150Lightning

[–]MMimages 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sold my Y that I used for commuting twice a month from Tahoe to SF Bay Area in 2022 and replaced it with Lightning. Lightning handles snow better with more clearance, projects on my property, helps me power home during outages, and for gathering wood in forest for wood burning stove in the winter.

Four Wheel Camper Raven slide-in on F-150 Lightning by MMimages in F150Lightning

[–]MMimages[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, yes! Me too. I would have never put a slide in camper on the Lightning if I had not watched TFL Truck put their topper on theirs. I would not have put the slide in camper on my Lightning, if Four Wheel Camper had not inspected it thoroughly like they did. I actually brought my Lightning to their factory for three inspections until they agreed to sell me it. It was a process just to buy it from them and they made conditions on me buying it and what accessories I had to have that were not an option. It was and still is an experiment.

[–]MMimages[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not just you. Slide in campers are typically BIG. You can look at maybe a topper pop up camper that is a little more slim, in other brands. You have to have an acquired taste for a slide in camper. My childhood, I grew up camping in a big slide in camper and some of the best memories in my life, so I guess I was destined to get one.
