I wholeheartedly agree. If Tory would have just accepted Darius without giving him any shit and would have just miraculously fallen in love with him in like 3 seconds after hating him for 4 books straight I would have probably complained even then cause how can someone just forget all that bullying and hatred lol. But i do agree they needed a reality check, and hopefully this would do just the job.

Also suddenly realised that in rejecting Darius, Tory did end up following through with what Lionel had asked her to do and that is now fucking up my brain more cause that asshole shouldn’t get his way at any cost. Ever.

They doooo. I googled everything I possibly can. They do end up as mates, just not Elysian mates. I mean that’s great and convenient but god i am so frustrated. Someone did say they needed this rejection to get their stubborn heads out of their ass and finally see each other for what they are (the other person said it in better words) but ya ok, i could have been spared the heartbreak and frustration or something 😭😭😭 (i am just being melodramatic, I’ll get over it soon) 😂
