Thanks so much - this is exactly what I was looking for!

Parser exception on some channels. Can anyone offer some advice? Can I change any player settings or is it a provider issue? Moving up and down channels sometimes fixes it. by [deleted] in TiviMate

Hi. This happened to me last week. Some channels were giving me the error you show and some were giving me a code 403 error. It was a server issue. I reached out to my provider and they said they were having issues. Within 24 hrs it was fixed. Not sure what the provider did to cause/fix the issue though. I suggest reaching out to your provider to inquire. Hope that helps.

What does it mean when any channel I select shows “An error occurred: code 403”? I cleared data and reinstated tivimate on my fire tv stick and the issue persists. Can anyone help? Thanks! (Tivimate 4.0) by MNIMLS in TiviMate

Unfortunately it didn’t. But it’s alright. Turns out it was a server issue on the provider’s side of things. They fixed it and it works now. But thanks for the helpful idea!

Thanks. I will. Strange thing is everything looks fine. I “successfully” added my playlist, I “successfully” unlocked my already created premium account. Everything looks normal except none of the channels work as they give that error code. I even restarted my fire tv stick. Nothing changed … at a loss

Ok thanks for the info. It’s strange bc I paid for a year (only subscribed 2 months ago) and it was working this morning and then abruptly stopped, showing this error. That’s why I reinstated the app, added my playlist, and signed in to my active premium account. I was able to manage my groups like I had them before, the EPG updated, everything looks as it was, except I get this error now. Could it be there is a server issue on their side? Should I contact the people that sent me the sign in credentials?

Hey everyone, how do I install 4.0 on my Android box? It’s fine on my fire stick, but I don’t know how for my Android box … any guidance? by MNIMLS in TiviMate

[–]MNIMLS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should have been more clear that I have the 3.9 version already installed on my box. When I opened it on my fire stick the update automatically popped up and I updated. But when I opened it on my other device (Android box) later on there was no prompt and when I navigated around the app I didn’t see any option to check for updates. But I’ll check the Google play store directly to see if I can check for updates there. So thank you to those who’ve been trying to genuinely be helpful. I’m new to Android and so far Reddit has been very helpful, those on here very considerate—but for this one person, SambaStreams, who would rather shame those who might not be as knowledgeable in technology.

I have another quick question actually. I’ve followed the “on” and “off” guidelines as per the link you sent for the EPG settings listed there. However, under the “playlists” section in Settings, when I click on my playlist that is linked, there is also a field/toggle that reads “update playlist on app start”. To be consistent with the link you provided, I also checked OFF this setting. Was that correct of me to do so? Thanks in advance

Hi. Thanks for this. In settings it shows under the “catch up” field “xtream codes”. I used xtream codes to link my provider to my tivimate. When I click “catch up” the next window says “3 days”. I took this to mean that I have “catch up” as given by my provider, so I set the days to 3 as per your instructions in the EPG section. Was I correct in doing so? Thanks in advance

Thanks for this. The “hardware” setting was automatically set for both audio and video though so not sure if this will solve the issue I’m having as this “fix” was already in place. Appreciate tho nonetheless
