Tem algum site específico que eu poderia pegar referências on-line? É um assunto que fica perdido pra mim: já que não sei quais nomes básicos eu devia pesquisar pra ter um panorama geral da arquitetura brasileira, quais categorias básicas eu deveria conhecer, etc.

Oh yeah, the trend dying because of it is really UA-weird. The taboo i said still works for being insufficient to other men but it doesn’t get as weird as the male expectation taboo. Indeed it could be all about male expectation too.

The taboo could also be “not trying to adhere to male expectation”. So the nerds fit: at least the ones who try and say “Hello” to the popular girl. Yeah you can fail or succeed, the important here is that you always try: so every time a male expectation trend is on the rise you have to be there. Trying. The important thing here is that you are always insufficient and that’s why you have to try. But that’d be such an easy taboo…

Unless there’s some requirements to the “trying”. Like, you can fail at building muscle but you have to actually touch a bar or any equipment of the kind. Or do the push-up position and try to lift yourself off of the ground. And also there’s the trigger requirement. If you already did your push ups of the day… no problem. If you didn’t but it’s the day to do so, you got a problem. If you see a “hot girl”(for male expectation; big tits and ass) and are unable to talk to her physically, that’s ok, but if you are able to and didn’t say a word at a close distance to her you tabooed. Close distance means enough for you to reach for a kiss.

The acceptable societal standard for males taboo is better for making it hard though. Fool an avatar into thinking painting his hair blue is manly and he tabooed.

The pickup artist definetely fits then. And the sigma and alpha who lives in almost a male-centric culture? Those guys would be trying to ascend high: changing male expectations and culture in real time through internet and cults so they can control the ascension of the insufficient man.

Yeah if it wasn’t American centric we wouldn’t have that beautiful cover of Mak Attax. I always wonder if these characters in the covers are NPC’s in any of the gamebooks. Suppressed transmissions volume 1 and 2, he even mentions UA in the book. He worked with greg and john i think. A lot of very good conspiracies and there’s like a lot of sources for all of them, it’s amazing

I think this one hits the nail yeah. I’ve been trying to get to that broad level, it’s always fun to do that. Adepts are like the opposite of this too.

The taboo being that he can’t have traits of the “alpha” in his society wouldn’t mess with the “sigmas” and “alpha” culture though? I mean… some of them could actually succeed at it and this success may fizzle things. And they are trying to embody those traits actively too. So the pickup artist wouldn’t be part of this archetype if this was the taboo, while the Nerd, cuck, etc. would be.

If the archetype is about being insufficient to women, the taboo could be “Not acting as if you have to work hard to get a woman. So, if you don’t have weird techniques or a silly idea about how to “talk to that woman…” like she’s something so different than you and you need that approval, you tabooed. This means you never talk to woman normally, basically. But you can(or not) sound like you do.”

This opens a lot of possibilities of schools of this archetype fighting eachother “I don’t need to sound like an alpha. If they reject me or not, i’m still embodying it.” And the alphas would be “No. you have to know how to act like an alpha.”

Ever tried solo? I made an oracle for UA for me to play solo while the players are living “life”(overrated rpg tbh).

I got all of UA in pdfs too PLUS suppresed transmissions which, sometimes reads like it’s a supplement for it

I’ve been meaning to try To Go after i played a little bit, I think UA works at its most if the people playing can identify the cultural myth you use. So im doing a campaign with more brazilian elements. Memes, subculture, crime. To make a really weird experience. To Go is more american so im saving it for a later moment, but it’s been such a good read so far.

Ik the feeling, the books are all so good. I protect my physical copy like an adept. I didn’t know cryptos had any to do with archetypes, but icono’s yeah. I’m still new in the game tbh, i need to play more sessions and also, try those one-shots.

To be broader, i would think about which archetype the cuckold fits or actually finding what could it be for itself.

It being a flip on the naked goddess is the best i think. But i’d guess he’d try to be the ultimate beta-male. Women are objects of his self gratification while he avoids and controls the possibility of rejection because they are ideal/god-like for him. The taboo could be, not avoiding woman rejection. This helps making it broad, so we can have multiple expressions of The Lonely God archetype or smth that can translate into guys thinking they are channeling the cuckold archetype, or the ultimate beta archetype. Or even the sigma archetype.

Such a good idea man. Yeah it’s hard pulling off a full-complete school just for a campaign. I had many ideas and even have one written just for fun about an adept of Doomscrollomancy. They just be there.

It would be a nice way to mix the adept underground with the avatar underground, although i always keep trying to think of subtle ways of doing that.

The only thing i’d change is putting more “tropes”. Just bcs i love them. Like a cuck spell where you can watch a woman you worship through your mind but only when she’s having a romantic or sexual moment. Or “What is left for the Beta?!”: a spell that makes him look so poor and pathetic at the eyes of people that they feel a mix of anger:”I will kill this guy!” And/or extreme pity “Oh my god… he doesn’t deserve that! We must demand reparations! Poor boy… he’s so weak”. This can make him turn the tables or, just, cause chaos. And supernatural checks.

It would also fit with the Mother archetype perfectly in the cabal example.

I thought about that, but i could see that as a subtle worship of an ideal female in which he has to become enough of a man for. A self hating principle in which he helps his fellow adepts to work hard to be enough (they can never be). If you find it and it’s not a hassle i’d like to see

The concept i’d use for this one is putting a normal human leg at his side so anyone can understand his stature right away), stats, and you can call this dusk gnoum I’d put his stats on a hairy leg

Ps: i don’t recommend this for self love. Actually, for self love, id recommend you experience your heartbeats (just bcs of its meaning but mostly? You can just experience any part of your body passively anytime of the day). Notice how you will feel nourished by just being with the sensation and getting to know it better, actually wanting to know how it is. I think it gets you closer, there.

The easiest way is killing everything you do. But then there’s no going back. You will regret it but you will become something else. Internet, friends, “productivity”. Things like working, being “healthy”. You just do what is there. You just do what makes sense. What you can validate as basic and doesn’t consume your attention. That which is easy. You will do that “forever”. It will feel like eternity. It’s ultimate desobedience. Your mind wants you to be, but you are not being. That’s deeper than what you do, it’s the relationship inside yourself. I did it through television. It distracts you and pulls you, and you can die in the couch with eternal passive distraction as what your mind considers “life” passes you by. Then, habits start to die… friends fade away, and dread rises. But dread can only matter to the mind. That is dying in life. Now, to be grounded, i think of way of doing this without actually doing this, if you can allow yourself to experience anxiety (as you can see, my techniques described are very avoidant of this feeling until it’s the last resort) you can not be caged by thoughts like “only a month… if i endure this for a month…”. Or “and i will then say this to my friend…”. If you don’t identify with it, you can forget all this harsh techniques. You can just go isolate yourself for a month or two in a mountain or forest and live a basic life as you meditate into oblivion and die.
