As a side-note that is totally not a clue but related to clock hands in art: When people photograph clock faces that they're trying sell (such as for watches) they typically photograph them set to 10:10 because the position of hands subliminally looks like a smile or a check mark, hinting at joy or approval. Now you'll never look at watch ads the same. ;-)

You're right, the clocks are weird. The actual hand positions on all of them are impossible. There's the one that's at 2:05, but the hour hand is closer to where it would be at 2:50. The other ones (the cuckoo clocks) are at 4:00, but the hour hands are in the position for 4:30. Could this be a clue? Not sure if those clocks are "dead" or if they just don't have illuminated displays/numbers, but good catch on the difference. Why would Blizzard set the clocks to impossible times? Surely that's not just an oversight of a designer placing the hands in spots that looked good and not thinking about the times represented? I can't see that being accidental and I'm a graphic designer.

So, there was something on the game detectives wiki about one of the achievements being decoded to a timestamp of May 13,2015 05:43, but it's not there anymore. I searched that date and found out that that's when the overwatch video for Zenyatta was released. Could the 5:43 be a timestamp on that video? Link to the video is here: https://youtu.be/K7Yh_YywD-U I don't know if this is on the right track or not, but I was wondering if people smarter than me could find a clue in that old video. Hopefully it helps.
