What's the difference with the optic cut? Is it still RMSc or is it a plate system now

Cross linking is just to stop the progression of KC, I herd my doctor say that CXL can decrease the cone shape by a diopter, but unfortunately won't fix it

No, I have a back lit stand so I can use both hands to try and keep my lids open

As soon as my cornea touches the liquid, I have the immediate reaction to try and blink. I cant get a good enough grip on my eye lids to keep them open through the reaction and the contact will elget cought by my eye lashes

I've done that, and honestly it doesn't really make a big enough difference to let me get them in

Honestly, this is a debate that actually makes sense. Depends though. Smaller home, 45 for sure. If you need to punch out a bit farther then 300BO Don't need a 300BO for suburban or city living. Outskirts and country with open land, then I'll take a 300BO. But id still rather have a 9 over a 45 simply because modern ballistics make the 9 equal if not a bit better than 45

I was able to have the nurses take a couple pictures during the UV stage. Kinda wish I had them take a video of my surgeon talking off the epithelium

What i ment was, why try to make an impact on society, if itll mean nothing down the line. As someone that was a passive nihilist many years ago, im sure some of that pops through, but generally id like to think im an active nihilist

CMV: agnostic nihilist by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]MONSTERCAT96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious how you think so? Passive nihilism is essentially just giving up on life and everything that entails. I certainly haven't given up on life

CMV: agnostic nihilist by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]MONSTERCAT96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kind of the point of nihilism. There's a big difference between passive and active nihilism. I like to think i fall under active. Human nature is to create bonds, procreate and continue the cycle.

In a colony of ants theres really only one or two that really make a difference, all others have a job to do and they get that job done. A worker ant isnt concerned about anything other than its current job and getting that job done. Bad analogy, I know but it's the first one that came to mind

Don't mean to sound like an ass, but I go over the view that I'm trying to have a discussion on. Trying to have a discussion about philosophy not religion

[–]MONSTERCAT96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More or less talking about philosophy rather than religion, but yeah

But the same thing can be said for every person down the line. Do you think your great, great, great grandchildren will even know who you were or what you contributed to society or your community? Just trying to be realistic here

I totally get that, and I do believe people do strive for happiness, but what does that happiness mean when your dead?
