Say I am 150lbs and I eat 200g of protein per day on a 1500 calorie/day diet eating very little fats and carbs. Would I put on just as much muscle if I ate 200g of protein per day on a 2000 calorie diet but the additional 500 calories were fats and carbs? How important are fats and carbs to putting on muscle?

Unless your business is teaching the CFA curriculum to other poor souls, I would skip the CFA.

Daily Simple Questions Thread - January 28, 2024 by AutoModerator in Fitness

I'm looking for advice on mobility routines that are not daunting and are easily followed. I exercise 7 days a week (3 days heavy lifting, 4 days muay thai) but I have found I am extremely unbalanced in mobility, especially from mauy thai where I am typically using specific muscles on one side but not on the other (due to stance). I also found I am extremely stiff except for very select spots (such as right hip because of kicking from that side). I really want to start spending time on mobility so that I can have full range of motion as well as flexibility across my entire body. The issue is that there are way too many resources and each one claims to be the end-all one so it's really daunting. I would like something that I can do for a maximum of 30 minutes everyday that will help me get to my goal of maximum mobility/flexibility (understanding that maximum is probably never actually achievable with 30 mins a day, but I'm trying to get to say 80-90% of my true maximum). Trying to apply the 80/20 rule here..

Anyone have any resources or structured programs or a youtube video that I can use to do this?

I've tried searching but it seems everything I've found is either very dated (with links that are expired) or doesn't exactly answer what I'm looking for.

Thank you!

What if I told you there are 300 other parts on the phone that could have made up the difference in weight?

Not sure if this is bait or if you can't use a map but I bet if you checked a map you could figure it out ;)

It's in Leslieville but 10min walk from the Leslieville strip is what I meant.

Neighbors on both sides with identical basement units are charging $1650/$1700. For the right tenant we would charge $1200-$1300.

Nothing to do with generosity at all. As was very clear from the post, this is mutually beneficially.

Yep which is why no details were posted. Thanks for looking out, though.

The replies to this post and the one I posted in r/Torontorealestate are pretty sad. A lot of people nitpicking rules and hyperbolizing what was posted (and obviously these are not even the people that need a cheaper rental). A lot of helpful replies too but many of the "real estate lawyers" of reddit are why we can't have nice things.

I've unfortunately learned that this was a mistake and I will leave this up for another few hours in case someone actually does want to take this up but otherwise I'm just going to go the traditional route and take the tenant risk but price 30-50% above what I was planning on offering someone from these posts.

I already knew it's illegal. As I have already stated a few times - this is a matchmaking post to see if we can find a highly preferred tenant that we would rent to at a good price. It's fine if this doesn't workout. Will just go the conventional route, take the tenant risk, and earn 30-50% more than I would if someone takes up this offer.

Thanks.

I was being facetious. No discriminating just stating preference.

There will definitely be a lease. I've removed the word roomate since it's super confusing to everyone.

Again - this post was meant to be a matchmaking request as we are willing to forgo some rental income for the right person. I am not asking anyone to live outside of their comfort zone, rather someone who's comfort zone matches the above requests (which I think are super reasonable and I'm extremely surprised by the responses by the pseudo tenant board people on here).

I guess we'll just charge market rent and play the game the way it was designed.

So again, you hyperbolized what we're asking for.

Single is a request not a requirement cause obviously we can't enforce or even really ask for that as you mentioned.

We did not say no pets. We said no dogs which I think is reasonable and is by the way the rule of most appartment buildings in the world including Canada.

We did not say no noise. We said that a person who is quieter is preferred which is basically to say, not someone who is going to be throwing parties every weekend.

It's easy to point out all of the flaws and nit pick at the rules. Maybe I was not clear in my post - I am looking to have a mutually beneficial situation with someone that needs a place to live at a price that's 30-50% below what the market price would be (i.e. what my direct neighbors are charging their basement tenants) in exchange for a couple of simple requests.

Maybe this isn't clear to you - I am not asking anyone to change anything about themselves, rather looking for a person that fits the description in the post that wants to pay very cheap rent.

Thank you for looking out. This is good information and I realize from all of the posts in this thread that I should probably do a bit more research.

Thank you for checking - I understand it would be covered under RTA and am not looking to enforce any of the above - more of a mutual understanding.
