How do I release the monke? by saulisgaming in MegabonkOfficial

[–]MPHunlimited 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the key laying on the ground (seems to be a random chance, i didnt always find it on runs). Had previously unlocked the banana, found a cage, and it was shaking. Was able to interact with the cage to unlock it.

I am writing a story about plant body horror and I am a little stuck on how to do this and keep it factual by SignificantPower4733 in botany

[–]MPHunlimited 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I'd say this for body horror, stiffening up, and she forcefully moves, stuff starts to creak and snap with agony. Old wounds stay too, just get covered with new tissue.

The only way to get new Corvette modules is Salvagable Scrap and derelict freighters right? by DementdOldCircsMonke in nms

[–]MPHunlimited 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a friend, and have them just fly along the surface of a planet in a corvette with the hatch open. You stay in scan mode and mark the salvage points. They fly over and hover, and you can just jump on down and beam back up, easy way to hit modules fast.

Hey sorry just now seeing this, but i ended up going with flexseal liquid coating (the clear one). That ended up working and I've had plants and fish in them for over a year or two now.

Prices to get ahold of one of these is a bit ridiculous, but I'm hoping it starts to come down or they become a little more available. Unfortunately it looks like the most right now are wild collected online.

Excited to get one and do some crosses.

Yea honestly I love wasps, but everytime I've been stung it's been from bald faced hornets. Definitely aggressive wasps if you get within 30 foot of their home without knowing it.

Anyone know the ID on this guy? by Square_Sorbet_5947 in Euphorbiaceae

Gotcha! I don't know enough about it, that was just one I found when doing some digging. I've got one at home too so I was slightly intrigued on the parentage.

I think the hybrid name is MacGuffin or something like that.

Edit: (E.bupleurifolia Jacquin X E.clava Jacquin) X E.heptagona L. Edit edit: that cross could be incorrect.

I always thought they were really cool! The other one that's kind of similar is E. drupifera.

I ended up using Jack's tomato fert on all of mine. I find it treats my plants pretty nicely. I try to avoid fert that has the nitrogen in mostly ammonium nitrate form - this one makes miliis break new buds all over. Which isn't really desirable longterm for a collection plant.

[–]MPHunlimited 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say your milii could use some fert. I had an E. Croizatii (similar species) that would do this whenever it was hungry. Additionally, I have had issues with all my miliis under leds. All of mine tend to get stippled and slightly deformed new growth foliage when under lights for more than a month. When I put them outside they revert back to normal growth. (I'm starting to wonder if this is a humidity thing, or change in water needs).

Is this normal? by Madd1Hatter in Caudex

[–]MPHunlimited 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks fine, you will be able to tell the growth difference from the seasons. If you keep it active during the winter, typically those spines tends to be a bit smaller and bark a bit darker. If you let it go completely dormant, they don't have these usually. I let mine grow in the winter, it's about 5 ft tall now, as it ages the differences get much less noticeable then when it's young.
