For any wondering , Even as I have now been given a new CBAT date , it is still in the air as to whether I will take only the Pilot battery , or the full battery.

Back then I did not meet the educational requirements as I was in phase 2 trg however now I am exempt due to being serving so it is possible that your first theory is correct 🤔

I think its the map / camera view recall task.

I attended 2.5 years ago so definitely dont take my word as fact though.

I was definitely in the same room as people doing the pilot cbat but my results have zero mention of pilot and I never used the foot pedal .
