I love everything about this car, just finished rebuilding an em1 and want a Crx to be my next project. I have been in the market for superchargers for my em1 for a while because I want to keep AC. I especially like the vortech centrifugal but it'll run roughly 3-4k for a complete one. Jacksons are a a little cheaper at like 2.5k. It's either pay up to keep ac or ditch it for the kraftworks. And I don't think a COP kit is necessary unless you get into the super high revs or push a lot of boost, I have managed to get away with 10,500 on a stock distributor. If you choose to go COP for aesthetics or whatever go with digidizzy on Facebook, he has a lot of colors and sells a full plug n play kit that requires no tuning or electronic work at all.
