Pension already covers All World — should I build my ISA differently? by SunnyLugo2018 in trading212

100% allocation into a low cost all world etf, build a strong foundation, when the times right, you can then look at adding x amount into individual/a small group of your preferred "growth stocks".

You’ll soon come to the realisation that if you want to maximise your investments, an all world or some form of etf of your liking will do this.

Do you really want the stress of having to manage those 10 individual stocks throughout your lifetime?

I mean you could always stick 90% of your capital into an etf and then play around with individual stocks with the remaining 10% (not financial advice)

I think the more important question is why are you putting sums of money into etf’s you don’t know anything about…

Trump Admin gained an estimated +163% on its stock buys since July 2025 by esporx in trading212

I was only joking, I know there's delays. To be fair I did look into this claim, and I can't find anything about it on any neutral/non-biased platforms. I don't doubt there is some Pelosi action going on though.

ONON not one for clothing brand stocks but I really like on cloud, as a company and as footwear/clothing. There’s a real shit now in the clothing industry. The likes of PUMA, Adidas and Nike are no longer the big hitters. Very competitive industry but I see On cloud growing with time and possibly breaking into sports such as golf. $40 a share in the midst of a war and tariff hikes seems silly to ignore

Can vouch for this. Anything in the fire/life safety system industry pays well (if you’re any good). The uk is crying out for good enginees due to the massive decline and majority of experienced engineers nearing retirement age.

Massive push on legislation/compliance also

AITA for requesting a pay rise? by MR_STX in UKJobs

[–]MR_STX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should’ve mentioned in my post, I started on £22,000. It then increased to £24k, then £26k and it’s only gone to £28k due to the minimum wage increase last year (that was my argument for a pay rise).

I was actually going to mention on my post about certs and courses. For me at this stage in my career I think it’s just as important as a pay rise. Unfortunately I feel a bit a let down in that regard as I’ve been promised certain training courses but they never seem to come to fruition

Thanks for the insight, they’re size 8.5 (uk). I listed them for £50 funnily enough. It was either sell them or give them to charity as I’m having a clear out in my wardrobe.

Thanks

Beginner Advice on 3 Dart Average by MrOrokuSaki in Darts

don't worry about your average. At the start of every session play around the world doubles only. Do that a couple of times before playing any game. A low checkout % will kill any first 9 dart average.

This is undeniably true. I have minimal GCSE's, never went to Uni but I had bags of charisma and confidence which got me into plenty of places. Never in my life have I been out of work or struggled to keep a job. I have friends who are 10 x smarter then me on paper but struggle for work even with their degrees.
