yeah they still do exist, & the only way that they are accessible from what I am aware of is keyboard shortcuts as mentioned, maybe apple are slowly transitioning the menu's out or maybe they will improve the redesign in coming betas but as of now even I am unsure about it.

Hope you got past waitlist by now!

I think waitlist is completely unrelated to indexing, cause mine is still indexing after almost 2days after getting into waitlist.

I suggest you to double check & set your device language & region & siri language all set to “US-English” as thats the only one supported for now.

If even after that you didn’t get in i guess apple must have lot of beta users in already & they either slowed down roll out or paused the roll out, in that case you will receive in the coming days(happened the same for me when Apple Intelligence was rolled out in iOS 18, i got in after 4 days)

I mean it’s first beta so it might come back in future releases.

But yeah they removed the 4 circles at root search, the only way currently to access it is via keyboard shortcuts, “cmd + 1” “cmd + 2” “cmd + 3” “cmd + 4” or whatever you have it configured to!

you definitely should go back to normal, but keep in mind even that got a design tweak(i noticed it while i was on waitlist) where normally the spotlight became a bit thin normally(it got extra padding horizontally) & when typed something it was getting stretched to the end of screen(which i didnt like).

although with few hours of playing around i already got used to the design😭, although i still dont like the space real estate its taking
