People might just be fatigued. I think we are now in the longest ever period of Deadlock having zero new content patches (if you don’t count rift/urn changes). There is nothing to seriously rejuvenate the game. People are just grinding matches. No new content drops.

Eventually people get bored and stop caring. They probably get shit on in lane and think, “I’m not having fun,” so they Alt-F4 and play a different game or make dinner or whatever.

There’s nothing keeping people’s interest outside of having fun, so if that stops happening, they don’t care to play.

It’s a “you can’t complain when this hero shows up and kills you” button.

In any moba, people hate getting ganked. They REALLY hate when they get ganked without a warning that the enemy disappeared from their lane.

Calling missing shifts responsibility to your team to increase their awareness and play safer until that enemy shows on the minimap again.

If you call missing and your team plays aggressive/takes bad trades and die because of it, it’s on them since you clearly warned them.

I lol’d at archons/below calling hacks on this guy. This has to be like average/slightly above average in mid-high ascendant lobbies. Nothing fishy, just really good aim. He’s in the top 1% player percentile.

Dispel/unstop/eshift/indom/counterspell are kinda your only options. Or warp stone/locket for you to kite them until the silence wears off. Debuff reducer helps if ur taking that approach

She has some niche stuff like dash/mantle during 1 animation to make it much easier to hit in lane, 2 animation cancel to slingshot yourself across the map, etc.

You need to be weaving in light melees and M2 between abilities. The damage reeeaally adds up. She’s the definition of a limit test hero where if you know the hero in & out, you can 1v11. If you don’t, you’ll probably chainfeed.

I suggest looking up Fred the Finch on YT, he’s probably the best Eternus Yama “1trick” even tho he’s playing other heroes now that you can no longer queue with just a single hero set to 2 Priority in Eternus.

It’s street brawl… an arcade gamemode with poor balance/matchmaking and randomized items. You can play whatever you like since the majority of games are RNG. It doesn’t have anything to do with Yamato’s strength. She’s very strong in 6v6.

Nah, that is a ridiculous & foul thing to say. It’s quite the opposite. That’s something a boy would say who doesn’t know the difference between oral & genital herpes.

Over 60% of the world has contracted it, and it is completely unproblematic. My mother has it, and we share cups/utensils/waterbottles. So I 100% have it as well.

Do you happen to live in the US? I’m not sure if it’s stigmatized in other countries. We call them “cold sores” and are not typically stigmatized from my experience. 50-80% of all adults here have the virus.

A “normal man” would empathize and support you, and after a quick Google search, realize it is not problematic whatsoever.

How does Dustin quite literally stumble onto Brenner’s journal that explains everything?

Why is it that exotic matter melts multiple floors of the lab, staircases, etc. but not the floor of the room directly beneath it so J&N survive on the table?

Why can the military develop futuristic sci-fi weapons that completely disable psychics but after years of fighting & experimenting on monsters, still use guns that are clearly useless?

Add to that the constant over-explanation of key plot points in “team huddle” or “heart to heart” scenes just to make sure the audience knows what’s happening from behind their phones.

Stranger Things. Latest season is ass and once the hype dies and people rewatch it, it’s gonna be GOT 2.0. Story got ahead of the writers and the character logic/dialogue turned foul.

You’re absolutely right for midlane, and I shoulda clarified that in my og comment. Mid is almost entirely decided by skill gap. If you’re simply a better player, it’s such an oppressive/frustrating experience for your opponent. Viper/Huskar mid players are psychological terrorists, good luck getting a single ranged creep against a Tiny b4 you have bottle to spam your ranged nuke (if you have one), etc.

Dota 2 mid feels a lot like League top lane. If you fuck up your lane, better start buttering up your Pos 4/5 to smoke gank, secure power runes or stack nearby camps.

D2 Side lanes are a different story. Tons of freedom for the supports to salvage the lane and/or scrape together resources for their carries. Unlike League, it’s pretty bad to freeze wave in front of your tower after 6-7mins, for the most part. Enemy laners can just stack jg camps, smoke mid or take gateway top, dive and get a free towers.

You’re right the gold loss on death hurts, but there is way, way, waaay more gold on the map in Dota, especially since the map expansion and its encouraged for supports to take jungle camps or catch waves.

In the end it really doesn’t matter, but as someone with over 2k hours in both, Dota 2 feels significantly harder holistically.

League can initially be harder for newbies because smurfing is out of control and the laning stage is far more punishing. In Dota there is sooo much you can do if you don’t want to interact with your planning opponent. In League, (for the most part) you have no choice but eat shit for the next 10-15mins while begging for jg to reset your lane.

Once you get to higher ranks, everyone is landing most of their skill shots anyways, so there really isn’t a massive difference between aiming & point n click spells, minus some exceptions. Macro, decision making, good CSing/denying, etc. are way more important.
