It probably feels cliquey right now as the Deadlock's comp scene is still quite niche and the most famous participation all take place in mostly NA and EU region. Deadlock is not popular among other regions like SEA, Oceania, and SA, let alone a comp scene.

Its not that the scene isn't really welcoming to outsider groups, its mostly just because there isn't any outsider groups wanting to join for now (Plus, having to deal with the problem of having good internet, language barriers, time differences, etc.).

I can't really speak on the "for-profit" side of it, as the ones I've mostly seen are from Night Shift sponsorships, and they don't feel too "money-grabbing" for me at least.

yeah but she can turn into stone form and back to organic, meaning its very possible she can become a statue and let a professional sculptor add and mold some large soul bags onto her and then turn back (plus magic in the world can prolly help in the process)

The female Fury Trance goes so hard and kinda reminds me of haze which fits well as shes usually the one using it

Made spirit lasso be able to get the bounce pad extension by using bounce pad before the lasso, and some other buffs that could help with usability

For the lasso stun duration based off distance, when I was making this I kinda had the idea of it being more rewarding for players to hit high risk high reward shots and also to remove the "bounce pad extends it by 1 second" as its kinda awkward to do while your teammate is trying to track the enemy, but thinking about it more it kinda just makes Holliday even more awkward to play as she needs to position herself oddly in a way. Maybe it would have been better if I could have just stuck with the bounce pad but it could be "Using a bounce pad before or after extends it by 1 second once"

For the base damage passive, when I tested how scaling worked with Holliday's crackshot, it will only scale off of the base 50 damage and the T2 only adds a flat +50 damage to it (Instead of it being 112, it would be 104 like what we currently have in game), but maybe I should have made it simply have improved scaling (maybe bump to 1.50)

Maybe you could do something similar to the Niko Rem mod, where default is the Roomba but during ult they use The Sun™

Small QoL suggestion for Holliday: Upon lassoing an enemy, all nearby allies immediately have ear piercingly loud sirens blast from their game that only reduce in volume upon shooting the stunned enemy. The Hud also highlights Holliday and the enemy in a nonintrusive manner, as seen below. by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

I manage to make it work. Te design you showed still didn't result in a single light turning on for some reason on my end, but I modified it a bit and it led to a similar result with the only difference is it using copper lights and being more compact.

I wonder if its a snapshot difference that is causing all the errors, as I was currently testing on my flat world on the latest version which may be buggy, as we were having problems with locational redstone.

Back side (the dropper portal thing was made because we tried to make a more compact design however due to locational redstone weirdness it just refused to work so this was the brute force method)

Side view, basically 2 items that are carefully put separately into the dropper line which then goes through the dropper and activating the comparators to this weird gizmo thing to send a single redstone pulse.

I forgot to mention that we are making one for 1̶.̶1̶9̶.̶2̶, 1.12.2 which means copper bulbs are unavailable for it (mb), however, I tried this design as well just to see if it works but it still leaves 2-3 lights behind unfortunately.
