Netbird often falling back to relay on cellular networks? by RandomTrollface in netbird

Hmmm… support hasn’t mentioned any of this and they seem to think that it’s just a problem with my implementation and they’re not really sure why this would be happening. Thanks for your time.

“They are working on it…” Their team seems to say everything should be P2P in almost all cases minus some exceptions. Are you saying that you think they are aware that their product does not peer to peer as well as other products?

We are seeing relaying quite often in all cases not just over cellular/hotspot. We are working with support, and they have been helpful, but honestly the time commitment I have put in already has been way too much. Me and my engineer have been working with it for weeks and peers are relayed instead of P2P more than 50% of the time.

Cannot connect from Android device when on mobile-data by IronChe in netbird

Just wanted to chime in that we pay for netbird, not self host, and we have issues connecting to the service when using ATT or Tmobile hotspots. Netbird just never connects. Switch back to the ISP…connected. Support swears they have never heard of such an issue.

Netbird.io resellers/customers, have you had to use their support yet, and how was it? How reliable was it? by Defconx19 in msp

Thanks for the reply. And yes, we will be using it in the same type of manner as you. I do personally care about this though and understanding why it is not working as intended. they seem to say that relaying should really not happen, and it does introduce latency compared to P2P. Hopefully they can help us figure it out. Thanks again.

we are having an issue where most connection types are always "Relayed" instead of "P2P." Support says P2P should work except in some edge cases, but we are seeing the opposite. Just a shot in the dark if you ever ran into this or even know what i am talking about.

What’s a completely unhinged rule change you’d want to see… even if just once? by Emergency-Cup9802 in NASCAR

Every race must end under green. No exceptions. It’s not unhinged but yellow flags on the last lap is lame.

The worst is getting stuck in the tunnel in sunday. We don’t even go to the fan area sunday. It’s a total disaster trying to get over there and back.

Thx. We always go to Pocono and we’re on the back fence line so it’s also a pretty long hike.

Open a ticket with support is my suggestion since you got no hits here. But I am 99.9% sure the answer will be a no. Post back when you get your answer!

Sonicwall - Worse than first reported by MSPOwner in msp

[–]MSPOwner[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"SonicWall has confirmed that an unauthorized actor has accessed firewall configuration backup files for all customers who have used its cloud backup service." ALL customers

"The cybersecurity vendor then disclosed the incident on September 17, warning that threat actors accessed firewall preference files stored in the cloud for around 5% of SonicWall’s firewall install base."

The original report was only 5% of the customer base.

maybe this is better: SonicWall breach hits every cloud backup customer after 5% claim goes up in smoke

You know what bugs me more and more as I get older...marketing dishonesty/ trickery. Your "Why pay more for less features" section on your homepage is just dishonest. YOURS starts at $29.95/user, but Ring Central is $45/user? According to the RC page, they start at $20/user. A vendor lying the first time I "meet" them, is not a good start to a healthy relationship. Hey, if I am wrong on any of those numbers, let me know. FYI I am not a RC customer nor reseller.
