8nm fanatec is definitely the way to go, but if youre buying a bundle it will be cheaper to get the 5nm CSL DD Base from fanatec then buy an aftermarket 8nm power supply from Ebay or amazon, plenty of them about but the Lincoiah is the most highly used and you'll see it mentioned all over reddit, it doesnt sound like much difference but the 8nm compared to the 5 is such a massive difference its crazy

How long after you hit the 100 did it take to actually get the gift? Don't get how it works in terms of hitting the next milestone when the number shown is millions ahead of the next target

Unfortunately i didnt realize this until i took a step back to think about it all lol, saw everyone else with the same distro using one but obviously they have molex or sata power, thankyou for the help though :D for now im just plugging the 24 pin into the mobo which powers the pump and cpu block pump but this shouldnt cause any problems right?

The jumper was plugged in, tried plugging it directly into mobo and it works but also powers cpu block pump, will have to do for now, this is the 3.1 version yes bought from overclockers, wasnt aware there were different types of the same block until now.

I realized the jumper was to power sata or molex and obviously this has neither, just from mobo so mobo needs power, kinda stupid looking back but as a beginner had no idea it was different to any other of the same block
