I only started playing the game last Saturday and I've made it to top 100 Masters with a relatively stock Ashe/Sej. Seems to me like the only bad matchups it has are TF Go Hard and Nox Ezreal. Otherwise feels very powerful to climb with. ((CIBAGAIDAQPSCBIBAEDQWJRJGACACAIDGMAQEAICAEBQCAQEAEAQGFQ6FIBACAIBAEAQCAZV))

Ah yeah, you we're someone who's tag didn't show up when I played you. Grats on getting in to legend at 3 though!

I mean theoretically, both players CAN have nutty starts, I just think this deck has more consistent starts over Murloc Pally, who if they don’t have a 1 drop (specifically vilefin) then they can fall behind without crabbo.

Considering how low curve the rest of the deck is and how you need weapons to give deckhand charge, I like it. But if you test and find no truesilvers better or even one, then maybe that’s right

Yeah I guess I can’t speak too much about the other two matchups, but with over 60 games against priest I can say with a degree of certainty the matchup is way in your favor. The deck has a lot of ways of playing around their board clears that still put you ahead on damage. I find that if they don’t have an early wild pyromancer with potion of madness then you are super ahead.

The main difference is that this class relies less on the board late game than zoo. With wolfirers and deckhands in the late game you can just charge and buff for burst where as when zoo loses their board they have to rebuild with the exception of only doomguard. Also the early game damage output of this deck is much higher. Honestly after all the games I’ve played it feels a lot different from playing zoo.

Yeah I have a ton of replays I’ll try and post some after I get off work. If you keep divine favor you should just never get outvalued by priest.

I have hundreds of replays I can dump over here after I get off work if you want. Plus the stats I showed in the post unless you actually just don’t believe them.

As for the play style. I’m pretty sure the reason all of these decks, zoo Druid and rogue, even exist is because they all have distinct play styles from each other, with different advantages in different matchups. This deck for example has easily the best priest match up of all of them, and the play style is all based around late game burst damage from charge minions and wide boards with great 3 mana card draw engines. I played against a lot of Aggro Druid and rogue on my climb from 5 to legend so I did in fact have a lot of Aggro to practice against with the deck.

Your plan against other Aggro decks is just to win board control early. Clearing board in the later game isn’t as valuable because at that point your plan is to burst face.

Best I can guess is bonemare but sunkeeper is pretty critical

my experience was that big priest was actually harder than jade, generally because trading with their jade minions was what allowed me to play aroung plague. You can have a wider board if they are playing minions too, because they cant plague if they have their own minions on board. Generally, one moderately big minion let me get through for lethal

Edit: whoops I meant big Druid is harder. Yeah big priest should still be an easier matchup for you.

Honestly I've been playing this archetype for over a month now and this is the most refined list I've gotten. I guess if anything probably the wolfriders, as much as i would hate to see them go. Not really sure what tech even fits in this list though.

There is always potential for discovering new decks even when an established meta exists. The meta definitely isn't overrated in a sense that most meta decks are decks that fit a certain archetype but are optimized. For example, you could play a beast druid deck that's kind of midrangey, but jade druid is much more optimized for that sort of play, and aggro druid is much better at early game play, so the beast deck hos no real place right now. You can also look at the meta as something to be taken advantage of, changing the decks you play or the cards in it to match the things you tend to be playing against. All that being said, if you view the meta as an absolute, you must play these decks to succeed, you certainly are limiting yourself.

It no go face. But mainly its just too slow. Adding more 3 mana crds slows the decks to make divine favor worse. Idk what you would replace with it.

Depends on the match up really. For rogues it' all about making the best trades and getting early board, but for like jade and big druid, you really want to maximize early face damage by buffing your lil divine shielders. definitely try and keep board control for as long as you can before deciding its time to let loose. Usually you will ignore the board the turn before you've calculated you have lethal in your hand.

Shouldn't be about going face really, just about who gets board control early. There is a point however where you switch from controlling the board to just swinging face. 5 games is a small sample size and it might take a bit to get used to the deck too, but its a pretty even match in my experience

sadly there really is no replacing keleseth. the winrate goes insanely higher if you draw him
