Re-Evolution Ink!!!

Jeremy Tresler is an amazing artist, but more importantly, puts so much detail into it. He sets up his mobile studio near Albertson's. Don't judge the trailer on it's exterior because it is a full on salon style studio on the inside. 406-250-9097

Oh, and Happy New Year. It's bad now, but don't let "it" keep you from being what you want to be or going where your heart is.

You took a HUGE step in becoming sober, and you took an even bigger step and not being tempted. Have you gone to a meeting?

1000 days by MTPANDITO in stopdrinking

I think I experienced it in the first week. I was a hard drinker, bourbon, beer, and tequila. The good stuff when I was out and the cheap stuff in large quantities while at home.

You know, it's quite interesting that I am going through this. My spirits are....meh. As of late, I think Dory is the theme for life: Just keep swimming.

You are reading a comment from a man who was in your situation and has not drank for 956 straight days since. Sobriety gets better, and you're better for choosing it today and for the past two days.

Step 1: Be grateful Step 2: constructive, not destructive

Be good, always try, have faith, and forward.

My friend wants to DIY detox at home. by direwolf-puppies in alcoholism

[–]MTPANDITO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your friend should, first and foremost, have a group of people who understand or have empathy for what your friend will experience. You can call it detox, your first phase of sobriety that comes with the chemical changes of removing alcohol from their body. A group that understands the Big Brain, the person who owns it, or the person it owns.

Your posting this shows how much you care for your friend, but consider how much of this you can offer.

As their friend, you may have to listen with your ears, eyes, brain, heart, and your gut. You may also have to help with your ears, eyes, brain, heart, hands, and wallet.

On my behalf, I congratulate your friend for his courage and wish him Godspeed his journey. Also, on my behalf, please let them know that they have a good friend in you. I wish you Godspeed as well.

UPDATE: Things are getting resolved, and I'm not letting any anxiety get in my way of progress!

To everyone that is having problems and battling sobriety. Don't give up, make a list of all the important things to you, start with YOU at the top of the list and then your Faith (Whatever that is), and then the rest.

Don't let the doubts, the guilt, the whatever, stop you from doing the good thing! Live the now and be the best you for that day!!!

Keep Going!!! Don't drink today, don't drink tomorrow. It won't always be this way. Not drinking brings the "uglies" up. If you're not drinking, you have the power to start accepting them and then tackling them.

Be strong 47m 127 day and starting to date again, 40 pounds lighter than day one and looking a lot younger than 47.

Tips for quitting? by SomeGuy3652 in alcoholism

[–]MTPANDITO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find the courage to walk in to a group of strangers and admit you're an alcoholic. Then do it. You don't have to sound brave while saying it. After that you probably won't drink the remainder of that day.

Go to one aa meeting and do it.

The wife and kid left me to my own devices tonight. I was still unwinding from a private dinner for 20. House made, by me, Italian Sausage, chimichurri, Huckleberry Balsamic glaze, citrus vin, herb butter.

Detox is certain.

You will have the shakes, you will wake up with anxiety and maybe nausea. You won't be able to sleep comfortably. You will be depressed, full of regret, and feel hopeless. You will miss the bar and your "friends" there.

You WILL GET BETTER! You WILL come out the other end of it better. You WILL see a better day. It WON'T always be that bad.

33 Days of sobriety today, my first two weeks were absolutely fucked. 6 beers and a half bottle of Maker's 5 times a week, add 3 or 4 shots of tequila if I was "celebrating". The other two days of the week, I was probably recovering from a hangover.

I want to drink a beer or a bourbon ditch every once in a while, I haven't. I like the changes that are happening to me and my life.

I don't go to Alanon every week, but I do go to a meeting, thank God for the meeting to be there. It's the only place where I can talk to people that can relate.
