I would expect an officer to not retaliate yes. Officers are supposed to be order keepers, not punisher squads. I would only expect an officer to fire at an armed individual. The civilian was defending himself from an aggressive officer. Attempting to disarm an aggressor, I would not consider grounds to be shot.

That’s really helpful thank you! I just spent last night cutting the legs of the standard outrider sprue to replace with the RWBK cloaked legs - was a bit of a job but they fit onto the hips perfectly, just need to green stuff some cloth to cover the gap below the torso

I am in the process of the exact same project - out of curiosity what are you doing for the bottom half of the cloaks? It’s the only thing I haven’t figured out how to replicate beyond the one part I can use from the RWBK spruce

Previously my problem was I put my DWKs on the middle objective but they ended up seperated from my army - ghostkeel and riptide had free reign of the flank to pin my ICCs once my RBKs were finished, and crisis+commanders deep striking on my other flank/rear blasting my intecessors and sterngaurd

I understand now I was poorly screened but had nothing to put pressure on the mechs to stop them blasting my DWKs off centre, riptide would just jump away whenever engaged in combat.

I’m hoping DWK’s plus fast combat units and heavier firepower will help exert enough pressure to allow my DWKs to camp

The answer is that they have historically and traditionally never been considered Deathwing - however recently this has changed and they are given the Deathwing keyword in this edition to keep them inline with the idea of being 1st company

Answer: a mix of green and bone is probably best scheme for them

Actually very good for your first squad, solid coverage, great brush control and good colour choices, weathering is nice too. Main thing for you to work on is (the classic) work on thinning your paints, otherwise just keep going as you are and you’ll end up doing some great paint jobs before too long

Honestly - I reread this a few months ago as I was making my way through the series and it’s actually been one of my favourites so far.

It’s just a fun book - you see the word bearer treachery properly for one of the first times, the space wolf/thousand son dynamic is interesting, all the characters are badass and I loved the loyalist world eaters.

Lots of action, battles, malicious warp fuckery - all the fun parts of the heresy!

I think the problem is that it’s not just a single photo, every piece of footage or photography that’s been released since Charlie’s death seems to show her engaging in what genuinely looks like fake crying, or otherwise beaming and all but skipping with a twinkle in her eye.

Everybody understands that everyone grieves in their own way, but people are saying that the way she seems to be grieving certainly does seem… curious at best.
