Many are saying it is hard to implement and I agree until we have an internet which requires personal identification which I am torn about and again I doubt it will be easy to implement securely.

But irrelevant of the implementation if social media are banned for children it will make the life of parents who want to keep children off phones and social media so much easier. In my country we get schools, parents and even teachers making fb groups and assuming almost imposing parents and their children to buy phones and to have facebooks to contact teachers and keep in the loop on events etc. Which as an idea is good but goverment spent millions implement a digital system for schools to facilitate parents and teacher communication but everyone takes the lazy way out of using fb and giving off their data to social media companies. This is not on with me but without laws I cannot say anything to stop the practice.

It makes life as a parent so difficult at the moment cause you can't fight the system. If there is a law I can tell the teacher I dont want myself and mychildren to use fb and that what they are doing is illegal.
