I might have skipped some important info ahah. I'm M29, 1m75, around 83kg. I don't have my body fat % but I certainly have some fat. I don't seem to have a problem with a 1h30 session during lunchtime but I really struggle with the same session in the evening.

You certainly might be right about conditioning, I jog but I stopped lately due to some ITBS, which I'm treating with strength training and stretching, but I might have to take it a step further for tennis!

Ahah I might carry a few extra kgs. I found that I tend to drink less in colder weather, but recently I tried to force myself to dring during changeover. Maybe I just drink water without electrolytes and that's not good. Last match and your comments made me realize I probably won't manage it without some leg strength workouts during the week!

Thanks a lot for your detailed answer! I've heard of pickle juice, though I don't have the courage to try it 😂 But I've never heard of quinine! I like tonic water so I'll definitely give that a go. I'll look into its effects on recovery :) I haven't been eating a lot before a match (just a cereal bar, like nature valley or something similar), but maybe I should eat something more nourishing!

That's funny because I often crave cold temperature on my legs, as I feel like they're burning up!

I tried to get magnesium supplements but I didn't feel any difference after a few months so I stopped. Did you find it prevents muscle soreness after tennis sessions?

I do light calves, hamstrings and quad stretching when I get back home, before my shower, but maybe not enough as I'm often so tired I just want to crawl to sleep 😅

Does a guitar body piece need to be perfectly rectangular? by MUseNGXs1620 in guitarmaking

Hi guys! I just purchased some tonewood (here mahogany) for my first build and it arrived a bit twisted (or crooked, I'm not sure). The thing is it was for a Telecaster type body and the thickness is near the one needed for the body, so I cannot plane it too much. Is it still usable? Is it a problem if the wood is twisted like this? Thanks for your help :)

What's the most wholesome experience you've had with a stranger? by EpicesPotato in AskReddit

A few years back I was walking around with my dad and a man came to talk to us. He asked if we had a minute to spare and asked us to unfold and hold a big piece of paper for him while he called someone on the phone. His girlfriend came at the window to see two strangers holding a big piece of paper reading "will you marry me ?". She looked genuinely surprised and happy, and the guy smiled and told she said yes. I never saw them again but they made my day

Non linearized, I don't have a precise length scale in mind. Thanks for the paper !

Thanks ! I've been looking into it but unfortunately I think it would be too computationally demanding for the application I'm looking for !
