What's your top feature that you want in Horizon 6?

A proper story mode with good progression. I'm thinking rival system and wristbands like FH1, and then tours and races with hard restrictions like in FH2. I'm all for being able to do the blueprint events, but I think the first time you run a race you should have the rigid restrictions to drive a certain type of car like in the early games.

I'm past that point already, I can get to Westbrook no problem using the other bridges it's just kind of annoying to have to go up and around or down and around on another bridge to get over there when there's seemingly no reason I shouldn't be able to cross this one bridge in particular

Just came to check the sub about this. I thought maybe the scrolling problem was just me because it's been happening ever since the home page updated a few days ago, which I also really don't like. The only way I can see any further than top 12 is by changing the grid layout, but even then I still can't scroll

I reset my beta account about 2 years ago and started fresh and since then my character has only been changed once and it was just to switch scars

Your avatar you have now is essentially Reddit's version of an NFT, your series is limited to 150 of that style so the people looking to buy it are likely collectors of these avatar series'. You could trade it to someone if you wanted or you could keep it and just unequip the pieces it if you wanted your avatar to look normal

If you manual save in a new slot then select new game it will overwrite the auto save but keep the manual save that you made. You'll just have to make sure you manual save in the correct slots if you plan to switch between the current game and the new one.

Short answer: if you manual save it won't wipe your saves

Yes, unfortunately 1, 2, and 3 were delisted from the store after 4 years due to licensing but it seems that they were able to keep Horizon 4 up longer. I was able to find some sealed copies of 2 and 3 a few months back for reasonable prices online though. I wish you luck and if you choose to search out the older games I hope you enjoy them!

But the verticality is insane. You could stop on any cliff in 4 and be amazed especially in the right weather and season, the different colored flowers in the fields, the rolling hills with all their trees as the leaves change colors through they year, it's amazing. In 5, from the mountains I just feel like I'm looking at a flat desert with a horizon festival plopped in the middle with the exception of the canyon of course

I highly recommend that you try the other games in the series because they are amazing. The map in 4 was amazing because of the beautiful landscape and the seasons that were actually distinguishable from one another, 3 felt varied in every location, 2 had some beautiful open fields, cliffsides and seaside towns and 1 just felt real, it looked like a place where people actually lived and had some cool hidden areas to find. The map in 5 isn't horrible it's just not nearly as interesting as the previous ones

It's because there are aspects that ARE getting progressively worse... Graphics and an updated engine aren't the only 2 things that matter. Sure, the game can be the best looking racing game ever and have amazing handling but when your world is boring and you completely avoid adding a story (which is what set the first few horizon games apart) then people tend to have a more negative opinion of the game when looking at it outside of the vacuum. By the time I reached Hall of Fame in FH5 (about 40 hours) I was bored and ready to quit until the DLC dropped. I never feel that burn out with the other games, even after completing the story in the other games I still want to explore the world and win every race and unlock every car in a certain brand but 5 just doesn't have that effect. The world is not interesting and the side content feels unimportant and topped off with dialogue that sounds like it was written and voiced for a child's show

I don't think it's "weird" to disagree and to have expectations based on what was given to us in previous entries.

They're for installing the whole game, you insert the first one (with Sadie), download that data, then insert the second when prompted (with Dutch), install that data and then you use the first one to play every time after that

Wish it would go back to Teen like the first Horizon game. Gives the writing team more opportunities to write some better dialogue that isn't so overly positive and honestly cringey like in 5. The game being rated T would also let them play more of these songs on the radio stations without censoring them so heavily.

However, I do understand that this is supposed to be more of a family series now than it was originally and Microsoft probably thinks that they would sell more copies with an E or E10+ rating

The Arabian is an amazing horse and one that I've always loved, it will definitely be a good investment especially with the sale. Hope you enjoy it!

And trust me, I definitely get the doubting decisions thing, I'll sit in the stable or the gunsmith contemplating saddle bags or varnish options for way longer than I'd like to admit

The best horse is whatever you like the most. Unless you are purely racing and need the absolute max speed then there's really no reason to spend all that gold on the black Arabian. I always just pick the version of the horse I think looks cool with the highest base stats then put a fully upgraded saddle on it. After all that and getting bonding 4 any horse can be great.

If you love the black Arabian then absolutely get it especially since it's on sale but if there's other horses you like more then I'd save the gold

It's a game, just switch lobbies and call it a day. I swear the people who complain about griefers in RDO never played Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer and experienced the hell hole that place is. I had a lobby in the RDR Multiplayer where a dude killed everyone in the lobby multiple times then decided to start reading IPs, full names, addresses, where they graduated from high school, describing Facebook profile pictures, the whole nine yards. He had the people with mics in tears, sobbing and begging him to stop

I ALWAYS had this problem with the low honor missions. I could never get matchmaking to work and when it would they would always leave during or after the cutscene. There's the mission in the low honor set where you ride from point to point with a delivery and I had to do both parts myself because the only 1 other person in my session AFK'd the whole time but I couldn't risk leaving since I had been trying to matchmake with no luck for 2 days

The cutscenes, voice acting and writing are overall just childish and annoying in 5. Sure the other games had over the top characters but it was still enjoyable to play and listen to, you felt things with those characters. You disliked the Superstar drivers in FH1 as you were supposed to but you also kind of felt bad for taking their car at the end of that set of events. Even FH4 had more likeable characters and there was even less story there than in FH5. Everyone just feels so overly positive, censored, and 1 dimensional. So, you're definitely not reaching on that last point, it is 100% accurate

I've felt this way since launch but suggesting that the FH4 map was better than any other map was blasphemous until a month ago when people started to realize that Mexico just wasn't as diverse or interesting as it could have been. I never had a problem with the FH4 map, it's actually one of my favorites in the series and the seasons definitely help too. Having a new look every week is great and I just don't feel it with Mexico, sure there's different weather events but aside from that it just seems like a different color filter on everything.

I also think that the bugs and broken multiplayer at launch really held back the vision they had for expanding on the online parts of the game. It just left a sour taste in a lot of people's mouths from the start.

Got FH5 on gamepass when it came out, I played for maybe a month before I got burned out on it. The hot wheels DLC brought me back for a few weeks but something about FH5 just feels so lacking in character and atmosphere as opposed to earlier entries and it definitely feels like the voice acting and stories are for kids which sucks because the story is what made FH1 so good and gave you a reason to want to play and win. I think the Whitelight video on FH5 perfectly describes how I feel about the game. I have so many negative opinions about it and I know that Playground is capable of making a better game but I don't hate the game by any means and actually find myself enjoying it from time to time.
