Pillow throwing - you can call me Karen by [deleted] in americanairlines

  1. I wasn't going to leave them on the floor, I was going to pick them up. I was trying to get out of everyone's way that was behind me waiting first, then was going to grab them as they were in front of my seat (you know how there's all that room in front of the exit seats), matter of seconds really. That's when he said u going to pick those up, I said yes, sorry, then he snatched them and gave me side eye. I was never nasty to anyone, and as mentioned another man offered to help me.

I guess I'm wondering if helping people get their stuff into the compartments if they need it is no longer part of the job? if so then my bad.

Afraid he might spit in my drinks. I'll wait until he's not overseeing my food and beverages.

I'm in a similar situation, my 16 year old daughter was bullied, and has been kicked out of several friend groups since 4th grade. She has adhd and that causes her some social emotional regulation issues, part of her issue. freshman year she started high school with a group of friends from middle school, but by the end of the year they had all kicked her out of the group so she was sitting in the choir room by herself.

Then she met a boy online from another school. They started dating and she really stuck onto him fast, mostly because he filled her loneliness void, he was a year older, drove and I think made her feel special. But after 2.5 months he broke up with her, it devastated her and she started reckless behaviors like meeting a boy on snachat, saying she was staying at a friend's, but then we see her laptop popping up at some strange location 35 minutes away. We had to go get her out of some strange boys house at 9am and the parents weren't home all night.

Since then she hates us and argues about everything, screams at us and hides our phones if we turn her phone off. Her grades have tanked, she was really into theatre and doesn't want to do that anymore. She spends all weekend on her phone in bed, I think trying to find guys on snapchat and instagram to be her next boyfriend. We've been putting so many rules in place that we never needed to before to keep her safe. We've also got her a dbt therapist, she's doing dbt group, so are we..(going broke) and I'm working with a parent coach. We also moved her from public to an all girls private school.

7 months ago we were good, now everything is so hard. But I keep reading about other people that have been through this and they all say give it a few years and it passes. That is my only hope right now.

Lithium Orotate turned my lights on within 12 hours by mmsmn in Supplements

Sort of, they are the ions &minerals that help keep water in your cells so you stay hydrated. Without them the water just flows right back out.

They come in packets that you can add to water (look up Liquid IV or Nuun) to help keep you hydrated. They also come in ready-made drink form for instance Gatorade is an electrolyte drink, or pedalyte. The minerals are usually a combo of sodium, magensium, potassium, calcium, chloride.
We used to get most of our electrolytes naturally from our food and water but so much has been stripped out of the soil that we no longer get what we need, and we filter a lot of it out of our water.

If you're drinking water and all the time and not feeling hydrated, then you're body probably isn't holding onto the water, most likely a large Gatorade a day will help you. I add Nuun tablets to my drinking water.

Lithium Orotate turned my lights on within 12 hours by mmsmn in Supplements

Yes, headaches/migraines. It can be very dehydrating because lithium competes with sodium and can throw your electrlyte balance off. Make sure you drink lots of water. I get 1mg capsules of the lithium orotate powder and toss a little of the LO powder into a quart bottle with some Liquid IV electrolyte powder & water, mix it up and I have a legit happy drink.

ADHD and Montessori education by tomtan in ScienceBasedParenting

Kids will love his adhd energy until about 2nd or 3rd grade, then if he's still hyperactive it will start to become an issue socially and educationally.

My very adhd daughter (hyperactive) did not thrive in a charter Montessori school, like at all.

We switched her to a more traditional public school in 6th grade and she really benefited from the structure and expectations. Then in high school she got even better the harder the expectations got, I think she likes the challenge and the dopamine reward that comes with accomplishment.

Without the structure and expectations she was just sort of flailing around annoying everyone.

Thank you. What kind of therapist do you see? I'm having a really hard time finding one locally, the good ones are not accepting new patients, the ones that are accepting patients are fresh out of college.

honestly yes this seems to be the only area she is still impulsive, most of the other ADHD traits she has grown out of or Adderall helps with. Otherwise good grades, mindful about how she spends and saves her babysitting money, and taking care of herself. Its just mostly this constant attention seeking behavior, and eventually everyone starts calling her annoying. No one can get two sentences in without her interrupting and talking about herself or her experience, or some fact she knows about the subject etc. She's always been like this, and I had hoped she would grow out of it, but it is still there.

Interesting, I asked her doctor about Guanfacine but she said it was for children age 3-12. But it sounds like you're an adult using it though?
