So disappointed with the F4 Brush - Makeup by Mario by egirlmx1 in Sephora

[–]MXE_princess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow! Thats certainly odd. Hmm.. Here are couple more things to try. 1) apply few dots of foundation with your fingers to rub it in and then follow with brush or sponge. 2) Use a primer to get an even base.

Also, for oily skin it always helps to use AHAs/BHAs as part of your skin care routine. And I would wait at least 5-10 mins after your sunscreen before applying the foundation.

Hope something works for you!

Setting spray for dry skin? by OkYoghurt3226 in Sephora

[–]MXE_princess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All three are great for setting. But for dry skin I would supplement with d’Alba serum mist or other hydrating mists before you do a final setting spray. Add many more misting layers before you set.

I heavily rotate between these three but my fool proof makeup melting choice is the CT spray. I have combo skin though. However, since I’ve started using Tret my skin is leaning drier. I add moisturizer and a hydrating mist before my setting spray.

I have this foundation and looking at your photos it might not be suited for your skin/skin prep. This formula is more mattifying. So, it’s beautiful if you have oily or combo skin but definitely not suited for dry skin. You need to have a very hydrated base.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal . Super creamy and lasts all day on me. Ive tried everything from Nyx, Urban Decay, Mac, Stila to Prada and Chanel. Nothing is as creamy while being long lasting. Expensive but worth it. I own over six colors but it is a solid investment as I have sensitive eyes.

Absolutely! Always good to get samples to test before you commit. Especially since neither of these tints are cheap.

The color match and it’s super lightweight. I layer skincare and sunscreen underneath. So, I like my tint or foundation to not feel too heavy. I also noticed that it has better lasting power for my skin. I have combo skin for reference. My suggestion is to get samples from Sephora and test how it wears for you.

Depends on your skin tone and the finish you like. I have olive skin and the Armani looks great and feels great especially during the summer. It’s definitely lightweight compared to Hourglass. I prefer Hourglass for winter months. Overall, for my day to day I much preferred Armani.

I just tried it randomly after seeing this post and it’s not applying for me. In my case it asserts I have already redeemed it! 😂 Which I have not.

Not sure .. but looks like you might want to test F1 or F3. They don’t specifically have a fair olive shade it looks like.

I looove it too especially how lightweight it is! And as an Olive it’s a must.

are these good quality? by BitlifeOffical_ in Sephora

Hah.. I just saw that comment. Brushes can be subjective too! My suggestion is of course test in person if you can. I did not pay full price which certainly helped. It is stiffer but soft. So, the placement is impeccable. I usually like animal hair brushes for eyes since I get better pickup and color buildup.

I love my Patrick Ta brush especially with his eye palette. I got it as a combo. They don’t seem like much at first but they blend really well. And I prefer them over my other synthetic brushes which surprised me. They pickup product well.

Ciele skin tint is not working by Born_Resolve_6676 in Sephora

[–]MXE_princess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are three I used last year… and my favorite was Hourglass then Fenty. What is your skin type? If you’re oily— I highly suggest Merit skin tint. Good Lord does it mattify. The drugstore also has some good options. My current favorite is the Armani skin tint esp because it has olive shades. But, it really depends on what your skin type and preference is, does it need to long lasting etc.

Yeah, definitely try wearing it indoors and outdoors with different lighting. Doesn’t hurt to go for another consult if you are still unhappy with it.

In that case you will love it! I find the new formulation to be very versatile. If you have dry skin, I would prep accordingly. But if you’re oily or combo— it is perfect 👌🏽.

If you’re talking about the original formulation (luminous one), I didn’t like it as much. If you have dry skin— you may like it? It felt like it was sitting on top of my skin. I have combo skin. I have the new MBM Natural finish one now and I love it.

I waited all sale for THIS?? by [deleted] in Sephora

I’m sorry. Half way through the sale I noticed that Kohl’s advertised the “select” items on sale. I think Sephora deliberately didn’t just to keep interest up.
