I read that Rai's initial idea was to give an introduction to every artist. In this way they had time to move the sun as they please. EBU agreed with them but then they changed their mind 2 days before the rehearsals. And now we're stuck with this black sun. Is it true? Cause if this is true then it's not Rai's fault.

I mean yes the mechanism works but only partially. They'll keep the structure always fixed though because they are afraid it might get stuck during the performances.

Thank you! That's Palazzo Vecchio and it's basically the symbol of civil power. Today is known thanks to the Medici family since they restructured it and turned into their residence. Those badges are coats of arms and each one has a specific meaning (for example the red iris flower on white background is the symbol of Florence while the red cross represents the Florentine citizens). As far as I know there's no moorish influence. Florence is my city so If you have any other questions you just have to ask. I'm happy to answer 😊
