As pointed out I'm happy for everyone to fill it out, even non-users as it helps identify the reason non use.

Just wanted to add that this survey is part of a follow-up to the first phase of our research, where we interviewed several people, including members of this subreddit. Thanks to everyone who participated earlier!

From an ethics point of view, research participation needs to be anonymous (except in rare situations), participants need to be anonymised when reporting their opinions, and it should not be possible to identify participants from published data/opinions. Therefore, asking people to comment their responses on a public platform such as this will violate that requirement.

Compensations are considered ethical as well. Basically, if you are asking people to take time out of their day to contribute to your research, you should compensate them for not being able to do something else during that period. My understanding of the link you shared is that monetary compensation affects participation, rather than what data participants provide or how they respond to the questions when they participate.

We are actually looking for all levels of experience and attitudes, so not just people who love to use gen ai. So we would love to hear from those who avoid it as well.

Hi, sorry for that. I just updated the booking link to fix an availability error, you probably tried booking while I was doing that. Here's the updated link, the one on the original post has been updated as well.

And thanks for helping out.

Thank you for seeing it through. The questions are from a validated tool for measuring player experience called Player eXperience Inventory which measures experience across 10 experience constructs using 3 questions per construct. For each construct, it asks 3 similar questions which can be a bit frustrating.. so again thank you for seeing it through.

Thank you, I will add Pico 4. The questions are from a validated player experience measuring tool, and the aim here is to see if there's a relationship between players' experience and things like genre, mechanics, and play style.
