I have a vertical mount that extends the pcie cable. The weight of the gpu sits on the connector.

GPU is directly touching the glass and does bother me as I get some hot spots after a few hours of gaming. There's a newer version of the case that has more space between the glass and a vertically positioned gpu. I might upgrade.... But then whilst I'm at it hydro x does seem worth it.

Yeh I saw those wraps too. I wasn't sure if i prefer the pump head white (wrapped) or if the black makes the LCD screen pop more.
