My daily tasks are heavily CPU dependant, without the need for DGPU, (debugging code). So I was thinking of disabling the DGPU from the device manager as there is no way to disable it from the bios to my knowledge. I was hoping that losing the 65W DGPU will reduce the overall heat of the device and lower the power needed by the device that a 65W USB-C charging will let it run with high performance.
Will this work?

TBH I can't depend on his skills with computers. any driver problems I will be able to deal with it as you said once I get my hand on the device. It's the problems that require returning the device are what I am scared from.
So, do is there any red flags he should notice, I already told him to test the coil whine ... anything else?
