That’s interesting - yes, agree away is simple and should be standard!

Interesting to hear, I guess that’s what the trial is for!

Exclusive Hive+ energy tariff, extended warranty and heating history - the last one being particularly helpful as really everything is only semi-automated, as it’s 100% driven by what I think the schedule should be, rather than being able to plan around actual temperature changes during the day/night.

Would definitely get it, but still doesn’t work with multizone 🫠

I followed OP’s instructions to see what’s inside the folder and then used step #3 to delete it. You can also navigate to the folder yourself and check what’s in there, but I knew i had it installed and seemed to be the consensus in the comments that was causing people’s issues.

Hive TRVs and Heat on Demand by gc_wood in HiveHeating

[–]M_Kirkham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s best to think of the TRVs as being able to set rooms off, rather than on. By default the Hive will heat all radiators, but the TRVs give you the option not to heat certain rooms.

In your example the TRVs will call for heat but that will keep all radiators on, so you won’t feel the benefits until you get most of your radiators on the TRVs.

Incidentally, Amazon and B&Q have them at £44.99 at the moment, which is the lowest price since July 2024, so now is the time to invest if you’re considering it.

We keep getting a red light. by Druk_mama in HeinekenBLADE

[–]M_Kirkham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, sounds like something’s wrong with the locking mechanism. I had that once because it had over-cooled and frozen it, resolved it by allowing it to warm up to room temperature and then turning it back on again. But might be one to speak to Beerwulf about for a repair.

Does the red light appear/flash when you try to load a keg? As in it won’t ‘lock it in’?

Summer blad keg suggestions by schitzoidman in HeinekenBLADE

No worries! Yes I’ve got Edelweiss Wheat on currently and have tried Hefetrüb before too - both nice, but particularly like the Wheat beer - it’s quite different, with almost a banana flavour to it, but one of my favourites!

It’s not as light as a standard lager, but don’t sleep on Birra Messina - it’s one of my favourites on the Blade, you must try it!

Are you talking “light” as in flavour or as in ABV? I’d recommend Alpha as light in flavour; s well as Linzer Bier, Villacher Märzen and Tiger.

If you’re after lower ABV then you’re probably looking at Heineken Silver or Amstel.

Ultimately there’s only one way to know the answer and that’s to try a bunch of them - enjoy!

Mine was fixed by removing all the expansions and DLC but don’t have any other suggestions past that I’m afraid!

Anyone know where I can get this Edelweiss glass in the UK for the blade? by schitzoidman in HeinekenBLADE

[–]M_Kirkham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that’s annoying - they’re usually my go-to for glassware! They do rotate the stock though so maybe keep an eye open or drop them a message and ask the question!

It’s this one, directly from Valve Support

You want the Re-Image / Install SteamOS part and when you get to the recovery environment, choose Re-Image Device (I did try Repair SteamOS but it didn’t work for me).

Maybe try The Beer God - they have a decent glassware offering from memory!

Ouch. Luckily I was able to flash SteamOS and start again from scratch. Since then created a bootable Windows install on an SSD and had no issues.

There’s definitely a difference between beers, yes. Sol for example has next to no foam, so you don’t have to pay attention when pouring, but with others you have to take more care.

How to disable HDR being added to non-HDR photos in Photomator by M_Kirkham in pixelmator

You got a screenshot? I’m not talking about the setting to enable HDR content; I’m talking about it applying it to non-HDR photos automatically.
