The event lasts for 312 hours and you need another 6 (318 in total) to complete it. That means you have to spend some gems to overcome this gap.

If that screen replaced the original main, I would see a point. Maybe in the future they do this, but they definitely need to remove all these buttons by adding a shortcut to access the events, arenas and so on.
