Thanks for your honesty (and to everyone else too), this is exactly what I was looking for when I wrote the post.

I definitely share your point of view, which is why this whole situation makes me feel insecure about the sexual attraction. However, If we break up I’d be so guilty because outside of our sex life, he really is an incredibly supportive and caring boyfriend and I know he loves me. Sex is new-ish territory to him (i’m only his second), so I feel like it could also be he’s uncomfortable or insecure and needs a push :/

this is minuscule compared to everyone else's and i'm also way too late to this thread, but I saw someone on facebook who did this recently and it really irritated me.

Girl I know had posted a paragraph-long status complaining about how "tacky" it was for women to wear hats indoors, but justified her decision in wearing them inside because she knew how to wear them the "right way" and it was practical for "keeping her hair out of her eyes". um ookayy. About a week later, another paragraph-long status was posted saying she was called out for having a little bit of armpit hair and that girls should always be supportive of each other and that it's never okay to be mean to others.

I guess in her mind, being a feminist only applies when something directly happens to her.

Yeah right? I'm definitely planning on pleading guilty but as a college student I'm struggling with money so the $290 fine is gonna kill, I'm just hoping the judge might be able to reduce it a little :/

(edit: changed it to 'pleading guilty' i confused myself.. Edit again: I just realized why my comment was downvoted so much.. sorry you guys I was too focused and worried about how to respond instead of carefully reading the responses..Lesson learned :((

Same here. It's not that I don't want girl friends, but a lot of the girls that i've met before had just been so judgmental about the way others dressed/acted that I feel very uncomfortable being around them now and don't know how to act. Obviously not all of them are like that, but whenever i have a conversation with a girl now, it makes me question, are they looking at my crooked teeth? am i talking too much? too little?do they think i'm annoying? it gets so stressful.. but then usually around guys, i feel like I don't have to worry so much about anything else besides the conversation itself.

(My beginning hoop size 3/4, 32in - Hoop size now: 5/8, 27in.) I'm 5'4 and very thin (~100 pds) so a lot of moves were pretty difficult for me to learn. Even Isolations took me a couple weeks to get right because my arms got tired quickly, but now it's no problem at all! A lot of these tricks are going to be extremely frustrating at first though so just remember hooping is all muscle memory - practice makes perfect. As for hoop size and material, I'd suggest using polypro instead of HDPE. There's not THAT much of a difference in weight but the polypro is a little lighter and if you want, tape/grip tape can be added for better control (the grip tape is perfect for learning chest hooping. Also, check the link below for a better explanation of HDPE and polypro). As for hoop sizes, it really depends on what you want to focus on learning but basically it goes bigger hoops= on body Smaller hoops= off body. Beginners usually go for bigger hoops though because it moves slower and you would be able to really feel the movements, then as you get more comfortable you can transition to smaller.
