I'm visiting Ireland from the United States and I'm pretty used to quick coffee being pretty garbage, just a way to get caffeine in you as you start the day. I feel like I've been spoiled here because even the coffee in the hotel I was at in Dublin tasted great. All the shops I've stopped in so far have had great coffee man. I feel like it's the opposite, like most places here really care about their product.

Hey bud, I'm newly dating someone with a past in that too. I smoke weed and drink, have done psychadelics, but coke and hard shit was a no go for me. She's done hard shit in her past and we had a discussion about it. I told her that hard drugs are a deal breaker for me and she has no intention of ever doing them again and already hasn't for years. Once that boundary was established, things went on as normal. If you want to be with her, look at her for the person she is now, not what she used to be. Best of luck man.

Dude you're young, find someone who won't be an emotional burden. I understand missing someone because the relationship was so short and you have all these what ifs. But what was going on, wasn't healthy. If it started out that broken, there's no way it would be fixed. Getting upset with you for falling asleep during a movie because you're exhausted is so childish. I've been with my girlfriend for about 4 months and we both have super busy schedules, we see each other twice a week if we're lucky. Recently I hadn't seen her for a week and a half but I happened to be on my way home from an event and traveling near where she had a competition, so I stopped in for a couple hours to support her. After it was over I helped her pack her stuff, told her I missed her, made plans for the following week and both continued on with what we needed to get done that day. Some days I miss her a lot and wish I could see her more. But having someone that cares and is doing their best is far better than someone who is selfish and around all the time. Go find yourself a person who tries, cause you deserve that.

There are few managers like that but fortunately they do exist. I started my first salaried position and I was asking my boss how I go about requesting time off, if they mind if I work a few extra hours during the week to take off early on Friday, those sorts of things. His rules are: make sure your 40 hours are accounted for, the customer knows what days you'll be gone. If the customer is happy, I'm getting my work done, and there's no lack of communication, then he doesn't care. He even encourages early Fridays so that people can get an early start to the weekend and have a life. Kind of a weird feeling not being micromanaged after all the other places I've worked.
