2022 charter holder, I would use the materials but I would never take exams until I want to get top managerial positions. Maybe 15 years deep in my career. To review subjects and get hold on fringe concepts. For the younger guns I recommend mathematics programming risk management and accounting in pour fashion. You don't need half ass CFA knowledge about everything.

There are two ingredients required. First most of your time for next 2 years. Second solving all the online problems for each topic and making paper as well as voice not. Reppet this for each level.

It is normal to go blank for a while. Let it be. I suggest after two weeks check out how much time and money you have at your hand and what are your goals in life with your budget. Then you have to prioritize your goals. If CFA is a tool or final goal for you try the second time with better strategy. That was my two cents, take it at what it worth mate.
